Letterkenny: Kids with Problems (2020)
Probably the worst episode of a great show
This episode is probably the worst episode in the history of Letterkenny.
Local kids go on a rampage of mailbox stealing, throwing bags of crap, grabbing women's butts and fighting on Stuarts moms lawn.
To resolve the situation the Hicks, skids and pot heads gather the local teens and explain why it's wrong.
The whole meeting is not well planned, seemed very awkward at times, and just not well written the way the we are used to from this show.
Mean while Riley and Jones think they have done all they can in hockey, when coach offers them a chance to join his beer league team.
The two are trying to enjoy the new team, no back checking, no defensive play and drinking beer before the game when coach has to get into great detail about sex with his late wife. It just went on and on, like many of the jokes on the show do, but again it seemed like writing was forced.
I do love this show, but this episode was horrible. Worst Episode so far. Worst Episode of the series.
Great show, but not this episode.
Banshee (2013)
Good show, but not for everyone
This show has a bit of everything.
Sex, drugs, violence and much more.
It also has, Ex Cons, jewel thieves, killers, Amish gangsters, Native gangsters, Ukrainian gangsters, British gangsters, horny Amish girls, horny cops, horny politicians, corrupt cops, corrupt FBI agents, racists, rednecks, white supremacists, biker gangs, Indian gangs, gambling addicts, drug addicts, alcoholics...and this show only lasted 4 seasons.
It's a decent show, a little over the top in terms of how many people seem to get killed in this small Pennsylvania town, and how this little town seems to attract so many types of trouble.
Nothing is off limits in this show, it crosses the line in season 2 when the white supremacists attack the white wife of a black cop, and kill the unborn child. This sends the cop (Emmitt) into a tail spin which ultimately leads to his death.
This show is not for every one, but if you want a pretty good show, and don't care about holes in the plot, this is for you.
S.W.A.T. (2017)
I Tried, just can't
I tried to watch it, even gave it a few episodes. Just cannot get into it.
The characters have zero chemistry between them, acting is subpar, even forced at times.
I was really hoping to find a new show to watch, but this does not do it. There are so many good cop drama's on TV, this is not even in the top 100.
The character of Hondo is forced, it's like he's trying to hard. I don't mind him as an actor, but this is hard to watch.
It is almost like the writers don't know what a SWAT team actually is, these are more like regular cops who do SWAT stuff on the side.
If you want a great show about SWAT, the show Flashpoint is much better.
Deadwood (2004)
Good show, too many loose ends
Very good show, characters are well done.
It's interesting how a character like Swearegen can go from being a villain to someone you like and even cheer for, after Tolliver and Hearst come to town that is.
It is easy to see why so many people liked this show.
Do not watch if you can not handle coarse language and frontal nudity.
I really liked the show but it ended with too many loose ends, and the movie did not resolve many of them.
I wish this show would have lasted one more season so they could tie up and answer some of the issues.
If you do watch this show, you will need to watch the movie after.
Hickok (2017)
Dreadful
This movie was absolutely dreadful, horrible script, bad directing and even worse acting.
There have been so many portrayals of Wild Bill Hickok, this one is by far the worst I have ever seen.
The actor who portrayed Wild Bill was a casting error, his portrayal was completely off the mark. He seemed awkward in the role and often seemed like he was reading cue cards, there was zero chemistry between him and his wife, everything just seemed forced.
The only decent character was Kris Kristofferson as mayor, and he was only in it for a few lines.
It could have been so much better, save yourself the 88 minutes and watch something else.
Traded (2016)
Bad Acting
Not sure what was worse, the horrible acting or the bad script.
This could have been a great movie, basically "Taken" set in the wild west, but it was predictable at every corner.
The only suspense was at the end, did his wife kill her self or not?
He managed to catch up to the train, on horse back even though it left quite a while earlier. Also, he rode all that was with no bed roll or provisions, okay.
When he found his daughter, tagain they rode back all that way, on 1 horse, with no provisions or bed roll. I would imagine she would have been quite sore after what she had been through.
Come on hollywood, you can do better.
Hot Seat (2022)
One of the worst movies ever
This is bad, really bad.
Not sure what was worse, the script or the horrible acting.
Mel Gibson should be ashamed of himself.
The story may have been good with better acting, not one good role in this movie, every actor was horrible. It was like a contest to see who could be the worst.
The bomb squad was probably the most pathetic, the costume designer should have been fired for the bomb squad uniforms.
Shannon Doherty was pretty lame in this as well, her lines seem like they were written by a six year old with amnesia. Contridicted herself on several occasions.
Bottom line is, aviod this movie, unless you are up for a bad movie night.
