Missed Opportunity
23 December 2018
A television show based on the excellent magazine, Consumer Reports should be great, but this talks down to viewers in an irritating and inane way. The actual knowledge they are transferring is fine, but is presented as if for kindergartners. The exact same information is useful for adults and could be presented in a less insulting manner. Why would kindergartners care about hydroplaning on tires anyway, and if they did, wouldn't telling them which brand tested best be helpful? Same thing with dishwashers, no brand or model is recommended or warned against, so how is this educating the consumer at all? It's like the first half of a review without any actual definitive advice or review. In the right hands, a Consumer Reports TV show should be interesting, but this just jumps from one subject to another without ever coming to any conclusions, all the while with hammy, unrealistic acting. A series that should be an easy 10 out of 10 is reduced to 1 out of 10. Not recommended.

Worst Top Gear Ever
31 December 2017
The only hope of saving this version of the show is to scrap everything and retool the entire thing. Naturally, I'd much rather see Top Gear USA return, but without Adam Ferrara. With that being said, there is nothing redeeming about this version except maybe Antron. Bill Fichtner has no business being on a motoring show, as he offers no insights or intelligence at all, and usually seems more concerned with his vanity. The guest star segments are just painful, but perhaps worse of all is the really out of place canned laughter from the audience who are obviously even less amused and more uncomfortable at having to witness this atrocity firsthand. BBC America, if this is all you got, please don't bother. First Top Gear I actually didn't enjoy. Even the Chris Evans Top Gear was better than this.

Not Star Wars
27 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
It looks like Star Wars and sounds like Star Wars, but this isn't Star Wars. It's like fan fiction, never living up to it's potential, and not creative or confident enough to develop characters or to stop killing them off.

Special Unit 2 (2001–2002)

Unrealistic Dialog
1 June 2009
This show had pretty good stories, but bad dialog. The main character was especially annoying. It's quite obvious why this show was canceled, although, like most UPN shows, I never knew it even existed until it was in syndicated re-runs.

Most of it's plots seemed to be copied from other shows and movies, leading me to think the producers didn't have an original idea in their heads.

I haven't commented enough. You've got to have at least ten lines of text. The special effect were not bad for a 2001 show.

The gnome was a nice character.

Mission Hill (1999–2002)
One of the funniest TV shows
3 April 2003
I really wish that somebody would renew this great show. It was well written and acted and was only getting better.

The show was produced by two of the guys that were responsible for the funniest seasons of the Simpsons, and one of them, Josh Weinstein, was also involved in the early days of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Warning, Will Robinson! This is absolutely the Worst Film Ever Made!
27 March 2003
I enjoy bad films. I watch them all the time on MST3K. This movie is so bad that it makes me feel kind of sad and uncomfortable that I watched it. I try not to think about this movie, but every now and then I see it in the store or on TV and I feel sad again. I saw it a week ago in the five dollar DVD bin at Wal-Mart and I felt sad again.

I wish I never watched it. I really regret seeing this movie. Sometimes I wish that I could take some kind of hypnotic therapy so that I can have my memory of this film wiped for all time, but then I think that if I did that, I might accidentally watch it again, and then the pain would be fresh again. The trauma of watching it again for the first time coupled with the problem of have the repressed memory of really watching it the first time would be too much for me to cope with.
