A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Reptile Room: Part Two (2017)
Darker, and filled with snakes!
The reptile room is cool enough in the first part of this book, but the mystery is what this episode really has going for it! It has everything that I would want from this show, to uncle Monty's death, to the statue woman, to the incredibly deadly viper, this episode has everything going for it that it should, with a good ending to it as well! Uncle Monty is such a good guy and didn't deserve what he got going for him! Count Olaf and his theater group are some of the best part of the entire episode plus the intelligence of the children is really the best thing about this episode as a whole! Oh yeah!
Stranger Things: Chapter One: MADMAX (2017)
My least favorite episode of the show!
It's not bad, but I was expecting quite a lot more! The season two start was not the start that I had in mind, but I mean it was good! It was a needed episode, but that is pretty much it! It managed to sustain everybody's love for the show and even introduce a curious new character and her step-brother! Max is charming and even though she might not have the introduction she needed for this episode, it still was a good start to a brand new season of my all time favorite show! This was a smart introduction to season 2 and it doesn't disappoint! However there are much better episodes in the show! Thank you Stranger Things.
Stranger Things: Chapter Seven: The Bathtub (2016)
Best episode of the first season
There is a reason Joyce is the best character of the season, and this episode is when you find that out completely, and it doesn't disappoint! Eleven must create a salt bathtub to look for Will and Barb in the upside down, even though the bad men are coming for them! And for Eleven! This is the shortest episode, but it's one of the best in the entire show. Lucas and Mike apologize for their rude behavior and make up for it by shaking hands, also forced to by Dustin! Nancy and Jonathan help the crew and Joyce continues to be loved by all fans alike In every single way! Love it and it couldn't get better!
Stranger Things: Chapter Three: Holly, Jolly (2016)
After a little downfall, this episode boosted it WAY up!
This is the second best episode of the first season, and it's for a reason!!! Barb is dragged by the demogorgon into the upside down and DIES, as you learn in "Chapter Seven: The Bathtub". I think the entire premise of this episode was brilliant, with the secrets of Jonathan being revealed to Nancy, and looking for Barb! Then, over at the wheeler house, you learn the secrets of Papa and how he treated Eleven! Even though all of those are great, absolutely nothing can compare to the savvy Joyce Byers and her way of communicating to Will through Christmas lights! This episode is my second favorite in season one for a reason!
The Secret World of Alex Mack: Cold Day in Paradise Valley (1995)
That dude is creepy
How could the parents allow this random creepy stranger reporter dude just walk into a teenagers bedroom and say " girls?, what are you hiding in there? " what in the world were they thinking!? Anyways I am so glad that this episode was the only episode that guy appears in, because he is insanely creepy and weird! Other than that aspect, and the parents stupidity, I liked Ray in the episode! He was funny and responded in the most hilarious humor gestures ever! But anyway, this is a very oddball episode and it's kinda stupid! Annie was funny when she talked to a bowl of soup though! So that brings it up!
The Secret World of Alex Mack: Paradise Lost (1998)
Amazing part one
So I have watched every episode a number of times! Some episodes like "The Doctor" I hate and some episode like "Leaving" were extraordinary so I got my hopes up for the two part finale! And this is what we get! Louis sees Alex using her powers and is interrogated by Lars! He tells the GC-161 crew that Alex is the kid they have been looking for the entire time throughout the seasons of the show! Then, Alex gets captured only to come face to face with Danielle Atron and captured and put in a tube! This episode astonishes everybody who takes the time to watch it and that beginning scene is the best part of the episode, with everybody coming back in a dream! Watch and be surprised.
The Secret World of Alex Mack: The Doctor (1997)
Awful
I don't understand why they had to make this episode it was absolutely terrible and it made Bo sense why they had to include it in the show at all. Alex goes to the doctor and finds out the doctor is evil and is about to do something horrifying to her. It's very badly handled and has zero funny jokes. I don't understand why after the amazing season 4 part one this was the way that they started the second part off with! Why why why would they do that! Nothing about the entire episode is interesting whatsoever and I think you need to skip this episode unless you want to roll your eyes with disgust! I warned you!
The Secret World of Alex Mack: Paradise Regained (1998)
What a finale!
Everything about these last two episodes was absolutely perfect! What a transition to a thriller from a family comedy show. Paradise regained does a stunning job of delivering that final BAM to a kids show, and the bomb scene was insane! I thought they were going to kill off Ray Alvorado and I was really pumped. Hunter and Alex find out Danielle Atron killed hunter's dad and Alex is finally taken hostage and put in a tube by Atron. This episode gave me chills and they couldn't have ever ended it better than what they just did here! Absolutely stunning visuals and everything was perfect! Annie makes a brief end scene cameo! This episode was done beautifully!
The Secret World of Alex Mack: The Accident (1994)
The beginning of the powers
So everything about the start is insanely average for literally any superhero of all time! They were normal and boring, got involved in an insanely hard to happen accident, got superpowers, and now people are looking for them! It's pretty basic but the show did a good job of making a family appropriate superhero that everybody in middle school can relate to. Ray is an amazing best friend and he honestly is the best character in the show. Annie is hilarious and a good older sister\genius. The parents don't know about the superpowers of their own daughter, but they are pretty charming and good parents! Danielle Atron is a great villain and Vince is very intimidating. Dave is funny and I couldn't help liking him from the very beginning. Alex can shoot lightning from her fingers, move things with her mind, and even morph into a puddle. Good start to the show as a whole.
The Secret World of Alex Mack: Annie Bails (1995)
Annie bails was so much better than people give it credit for
So Alex went into a dryer, big deal! This was one of the best episodes of season one and one of the best episodes as a whole! I think the emotional conflict between the two sisters was very good and well handled. Alex gets tired of her sister and wants her to go to her university so she can get the parents to herself. Then, After a game of hide and seek go wrong, Alex gets a motion sickness problem with her powers, and she really realizes that she needs her sister more than she ever needed her before, and ends up getting upset when she realizes Annie is actually considering going to the university that she got a tour of by their mom. Annie realizes also how much she needs her sister, even though she finds her annoying, and even though it is emotionally conflicting, it manages to obtain it's comedic values, and is truly one of the best episodes of the show and makes S4E9 Even more heartbreaking. This episode deserves better.
