Baby Reindeer (2024)
wow.. that show was.. wow
I finished the series yesterday and still haven't fully digested it. The series talks about Donny who is a failed comedian that decides in his heart to help someone who looked hurt and cried in the bar he worked in, and since then she hasn't left him. Beyond this story, there is so much interest and supporting characters and backstories that affect Donnie's life today and the decisions he makes regarding Martha.
I personally really liked the series, I think that the characters are complex, each in their own way, even when the series ends, you still learn more about the characters and you need a second to understand what you saw.
A crazy series in a good part, a very important series and beyond that, the actors are amazing and gave a perfect acting that I almost forgot they were ancting and it's not real. And the fact that the main actor is the one who is really hurt by the real Martha? That the main actor experienced it firsthand and still decided to create this series? Wow. Excellent series.
The Queen's Gambit (2020)
Masterpiece
Perfect. Amazing. Spectacular. Interesting. How many compliments can you give on one series? For me, she must win every award possible. This series is one of the best things Netflix has done. Queen's Gambit is based on a book of Walter Tevis, that talks about Beth Harmon, a special chess player and tells about her difficult life. The similarity between the series and the book was wonderful. The thoughts she has in the book were also conveyed in the series in an excellent and interesting way. I recommended everyone I know to watch the series! The actors were wonderful and did their job wonderfully, especially Anya Taylor- Joy. 10 stars!
Young Royals (2021)
i enjoyed so much it wasfun
I enjoyed the plot of the series. The heir to the throne who falls in love with a boy, something that is unacceptable in the eyes of the royal family, causes him problems and anxieties. I love that the series shows the "dark" sides and gives attention to the difficult struggles that the community has and especially someone who has to control an entire nation. I love the maturity of the series, the feeling that it is not a love story from the movies but a painful and real story that gives place to emotions and fears. I watched the first two seasons and the first season was hard but the second was even harder! Some hidden meanings and moments that will make you cry and smile and get excited when something happens for the character's benefit. I liked Wilhelm's character a lot, I think the actor was excellent and showed the range of emotions of being attracted to your own gender and the pressure that royalty puts on you. I'm sure I'll watch it again and wait for the third season!
Heartstopper (2022)
I loved it so much and enjoyed every second of it
I enjoyed this series so much. It was pure, boyish, funny, exciting, awkward and amazing that I couldn't stop watching. The actors are perfect and did the role excellently, I also compared to the books and most of the texts were exact word for word to the books. I also liked that they gave the secondary characters a plot, and I got to know and love them as well. I haven't had such fun in a long time and I liked what I saw, I highly recommend it! I must also say that the series conveys an important lesson in that you don't judge a person's sexuality by their appearance because feelings change, and I think this is a necessary lesson especially in today's generation that sexuality is a part of learning about yourself and there is more discussion online, learn not to judge quickly and let a person go out on his own merits.
XO, Kitty (2023)
It's so cute I loved it
The point of the series is that they talks about something we all face and know today - a long distance relationship, only there is something that changes the plot. Kitty is a simple character who, after all, wanted to find the love of her heart, and even though the series was about her, I connected with her the least. I liked Yuri's plot and Min-ho's plot and Kyu's plot, but I didn't like Kitty's. The ending made me look forward to the next season and see how it will develop, I hope there will be more depth to Kitty and all in all a cute and light series that made me excited with her and laugh at her.
Rough Diamonds (2023)
I expect so high and I disappointed
I was very curious about this series, and really the first four episodes were great and then it went downhill. There were too many plots, too many characters, too much of everything! Gila with Noah, Gila with the Jew from New York, Kira with London and Kira with Noah, Noah with the Albanians and Noah with the Jews Noah with the women and Noah with Tommy. And it's true, it's less of my series and I'm less familiar with this world and that's why it was hard for me to connect, but I necessarily finished this series so that I could judge it accordingly. I think that in the middle of all the characters, the plot and the languages, I lost myself and didn't understand what was connected to what. A positive point to note: the Jewish features added a lot.
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023)
I enjoyed it so much
I was very excited for the release of the series and it did not disappoint! I was sad that it was short because I could have watched and learned more and more about Charlotte and Georg. A series that gives us a side of Bridgenton outside of the brothers but the highest figure - the Queen. I really liked Brimsley and Reynolds and their story. I love the king Georg and how he deal with what he's had going through. And the parallel between the past and present was so good! Highly recommend, you can close it in two days and I loved the combination of modernity in the series, it did not disappoint and exceeded expectations!
You (2018)
Just finished it- recommend
Wow! Where to begin?
A friend recommended this series to me and I started watching it. The first season was fascinating the actors that were so good and we also met Joe Goldberg for the first time - an obsessive guy who likes to murder.
In the second season we met one of my favorite characters Love Queen - fascinating and exciting with her brother Forty but at the end there was a twist where we discovered the truth about her.
The third season was also my favorite without a doubt and there it was something curious about the 2 killers.
And at the end of the fourth season we got to Jonathan Moore - he tried to change himself and become someone else but the past always comes back to you and the traumas is back again.
I enjoyed the show, Penn who play joe is doing a wonderful work, and I loved that in every season there is a character who is close to him not in a romantic way (Paco, Ellie, and Nadia).
I'm Waiting for season 5! I'm curious to know how they will make it and how Go Goldberg's story will end.
Recommended series but be carful when you're watching it.
Aviram Katz (2023)
loved it
I really enjoyed the series that gives place to literary crime and actually gives place to literature in the whole series. In a world where spirituality and writing have disappeared from us, it's fun and interesting to see a series that emphasizes this world, especially with the stunning ending where everyone published their own book. The actors were great and the plot was special as it is based on a true book. The literary theft of which Aviram Katz is accused made me feel the need to shout at him to confess to the theft and get himself out of this mess, but he is probably sucked in like me. One thing I didn't like was the change in Elisheva's character (they replaced an actress), but there are probably things behind the scenes that I'm not exposed to, and the truth is that it didn't bother me that much, it just was weird for me. In short, one of the best Israeli series I've seen recently, highly recommended.
Once Upon a Time (2011)
without season 7 i would give it 10\10
Wow! I finally finished this series, I was glad I finished it because season 7 delayed my finish but I enjoyed it immensely! If I have to sum it up in one word - curse - every season they have a different curse.
But if I summarize each season separately:
Season 1 was perfect - Emma is one of my favorite characters and I was drawn into the plot that she slowly began to believe in Henry and magic, of course the ending was exciting with the ture love kiss. Another bonus point for the season - we learned about the personal stories of each character.
Season 2 is a cute season - I liked Gold's story and of course Captain Hook himself who comes to the series, the story of Neal and her mother also gives an interesting plot line.
Season 3 one of my favorite seasons! Both parts are excellent - the whole plot of Peter Pan is perfect and Peter Pan is an amazing and underrated character and Zelina who fights with Regina but actually wants a family and at the same time we are exposed to the love story of Hook and Emma, undoubtedly one of the best seasons.
Season 4, the first part of it is not good - I didn't like the development story of Anna, Elsa and Ingrid, who just wanted a happy family, but it was a little too strange, but the second part of the dark was intriguing and it was fun to see the villains get their time on the screen.
Season 5 is an excellent season! First of all Emma as the dark one- what an amazing character whose whole goal was to do good and we learn her story along the way, I saw it really quickly and the second part with the underworld was also interesting. I like when they met gold ex wife& hook wife.
Season 6 is a cute season with the story of Aladdin but at the same time with the Black Fairy, who both have to help the good guys to be saved but they fight them, of course in the end the good guys win and Gideon, Belle and Gold unite.
Season 7 is not good, I feel it was possible to end the series in season 6, it ruined its good taste for me. The only thing that was good - Regina, Gold and Zelina and also Alice, but Cinderella, Lucy and all these characters bored me and all season 7 was similar to season 1 so it's like I saw it again.
In conclusion, a stunning series that I will surely watch again, but not season 7.
That '90s Show (2023)
I thought it's going to be worst, but I love it
I just finished watching and the truth is that I wasn't as disappointed as I thought, but I also didn't enjoy it as much as I did in the past from the 70s. Let's start with the best thing that happened in the series - Red and Kitty, their partnership and their jokes made the series more tolerable and also left a scent of the past that I personally, as a fan, was looking for. Leah, Gwen, Nate, Jay, Ozzy and Nikki are the new generation of the 90s and I'll start with the worst - Ozzy, whose character I didn't like at all, in my opinion also a bit unnecessary. Cynical and antipathetic at the highest level. Leah was cute but she didn't play that well which took me down a bit, Gwen was excellent, Nikki a character that developed well, Nate a character that only towards the end developed for the better and Jay was the surprise of the season who reminds Kelso and Jackie in an excellent way and is also innocent and funny. I wish I could see the older characters (thanks to Donna and Paz for doing me good from time to time) and last but not least is Sherry who is an excellent addition in my opinion, she introduced some adult humor that was missing. In conclusion, I did enjoy it, I will not rewatch it, if there is another season I will watch it and if it is possible to include the older players I would be very happy.
Wednesday (2022)
Just finished it!!
A really good friend of mine recommended the series to me and after watching it I understood why it was popular. Wednesday is a genius TV character with her wit and insensitivity and in addition I really liked Ind who is her opposite and despite everything they connected. I really enjoyed the plot and the series itself and you don't have to see the Addams family to understand the series. Waiting for season 2!! The second part of the series was more interesting, from the part of the prom it became more intriguing in terms of plot, highly recommend! The ending was very surprising and the actors are excellent, each of them is excellent, especially Wednesday and Enid themselves.
The Crown (2016)
after watching all the 5 seasons
I love the show, i think all the actors who played the queen were amazing and did them best! Same as Diana, but in season 5 who played Charls is diffrent and i didn't like it that much, but the story and the drama and to know what happened behind is so amazing and curious! I enjoyed this show and i know not all the things on the show are real, but as someone who did not grow in UK and did not have a royalty family i had so much fun to see and learn how country deal with this and how the family deal with the country. I can't wait for season 6 and i hope it'll be better& intresting than season 5.
