The Curse of Humpty Dumpty (2021)

A surprisingly engaging horror film

I've never been a big fan of horror films since I see the genre as very trivial and not worth my time. Until this year when I watch the trailer for Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey and after looking in to the Jagged Edge Productions other films I decided to watch Humpty because it sounded cheesy but I unironically found the plot engaging and the mystery about Humpty Dumpty disturbing and found the acting, especially the Mom, to be pretty good and believable for someone diagnosed with dementia. The ending is really well done with the Mom remembering her dark past and causing the death of her daughters and her being the only character major character in the movie alive. I also find it disturbing how the daughters bringing the Mom back to her old home to help her remember was what caused their own demise.
