The Honeymoon (2022)

No. Just no.

Warning: Spoilers
This movie was not enjoyable. I was annoyed the entire time. The best friend is the worst. Absolute worst. Clueless and obnoxious beyond belief. I would have asked for an annulment the second my man said he invited his friend. The husband was foolish and inviting his best friend on the honeymoon was unforgivable. The wife was too patient and forgiving which was also annoying.

Only plus was getting to look at hottie Lucas Bravo. I rooted for him the whole time.

Save yourself the frustration and skip this movie. Stare at your wall instead. Much more entertaining and definitely more peaceful for your soul.

Ghosts, ghosts and more ghosts!

Now this is what I'm talking about! This movie was awesome! This movie was extremely well made and kept you on the edge of your seat! I'm a horror fanatic that watches every show/movie that qualifies for the genre but rarely do I watch a series that peaks my interest from beginning to end.

I'm impressed, Mike Flanagan. More please. More.

Phenomenal! I had my hand over my mouth for most of the movie, trying to not make a sound. I was on edge the entire time. With barely any words spoken, the acting was brilliant. Job well done!

Nicholas Sparks needs some Prozac

WTF!! Do any of his books/movies end in a happy ending?? The Notebook was good...but sheesh, enough with the depressing endings already. I'm told that he writes about realistic situations that people deal with in real life. Understandable...but sometimes it's nice to see people who have sacrificed their whole lives to only get to a mediocre unhappy time in their lives - to finally find the true meaning of happiness and are able to live it out for the rest of their days. Don't we already know what really happens in real life? Can't we - for one moment (an hour and a half) live vicariously through a movie that ends on a happy note - that gives us hope for our own futures???

Yeah - wah. I know. But for real, I think we need to preface movies that end like this one with a warning. "Beware: No happy ending."
