Lady Gaga: Judas (2011)
Plot
The video opens with a motorcycle gang cruising down a freeway, wearing studded leather jackets. The motorcycle gang are the Twelve Apostles that Jesus is said to have, including Judas. Gaga as Mary Magdalene clutches onto a Jesus (Rick Gonzalez) who wears a golden crown of thorns. Among the riders is Judas, who crosses Gaga's bike as she looks meaningfully towards him. The gang passes under a flyover, when the song starts. They reach their rustic hideout called "Electric Chapel" where Gaga dances wearing a red sarong and a bikini top with crosses stitched onto it. Once the gang arrives, Gaga Magdalene pushes Judas, further showing they have history. At the party, Judas causes a ruckus and starts fights, showing he's trouble. While trying to protect Jesus from the fights she attempts to warn him about his apostle's impending betrayal, but becomes hypnotized by Judas' allure. The pat on Peter's back as she sings "you can build a house" references a line in the Bible when Jesus said, "Thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build My Church". After the second chorus, in a climatic sequence, the singer holds a gun up to Judas' mouth, and a stick of red lipstick bursts out and smears his lips. The scene portrays Gaga's choice to refuse to shoot Judas in the heart. As the breakdown ends, the music stops and Gaga is seen in a bathtub with Jesus and Judas, washing their feet and cleaning it with her hair. The sequence is interspersed with Gaga standing lonely on a rock as waves engulf her. The music restarts and Judas is shown pouring beer in the bathtub. The sequence is interspersed with Gaga standing lonely on a rock as waves engulf her, the scene being reminiscent of artist Sandro Botticelli's The Birth of Venus and Jesus marching towards his fatal destiny. Next Jesus is shown standing on a stage, surrounded by his supporters, the setting being inspired by scaffoldings present around newly constructed buildings. Gaga kneels in front of Jesus and tries to explain something to him, but he places his palm on her head as Judas looks on. After Judas delivers the fateful kiss upon Jesus' cheeks, marking him for his death, Gaga falls on the ground with a silent, anguished cry. The video ends with the death of neither Judas nor Jesus, but of Gaga as she's stoned to death by the crowd in a bridal dress.
Midnight Colour (2022)
0 of 10
I wish I give this beyond zero out of between zero and ten. The storyline needed some more depth and context of characters. Characters needed more informations about how they become and everything else. I don't follow though. Acting isn't great. The actors and actresses needed some work on their acting skills. Soundtrack of the movie needed more of songs during transitions and everything else. Locations are pretty boring as hell. Some locations are NOT suitable for some scenes and especially at the end of movie. I literally cannot believed it's was overall not so good and very dumb. How death is in this movie make it as romanic? I thought romanic movies are meant about love. Not death included. That's my thought. Least I am being honest with my preview on this movie.
Demonic Toys: Jack-Attack (2023)
10/10 is NOT good enough!
This movie is really good and I hope they will make more of Jack Attack also I hope Full Moon Productions make spin offs where Jack Attack and Jester teaming up or something. I would love to see best clown show off completely.
Synopsis: a young, orphaned girl without the ability of speech finds that she has been gifted with the notorious Jack-in-the-Box from the Demonic Toys.
We start this inside of a house in the middle of what looks like an attack. Lily (Sofia Castellanos) has an axe and Mrs. Benson (Tari Lyn Bergoine) appears out of a room. It turns out that there is a clown after them as well as the Jack-in-the-Box. The older woman is killed and we cut away.
It then takes us to a meeting between Mrs. Culver (Donna Steele), Audrey Haines (Mabel Thomas), Tyler (Sean Ramey) and his wife Kate Yost (Christine Brunner). The discussion is over Lily and what to do with her. The Yosts were related to the late Mrs. Benson. They want Lily to stay with them. They have fostered others and are currently in the care of a teenager around the age of Lily. Mrs. Culver doesn't think it is a good idea. Audrey is pushing for them to take custody, despite what this older woman thinks. Audrey makes an executive decision and Lily will stay with the Yosts.
Lily is struggling from that attack. She hasn't spoken since and stays in her room drawing her attackers. This causes her to be bullied by another orphan, Rochelle (Brooklynn Johnson). She also makes a comment about the family that is taking Lily in.
They arrive at the farmhouse that belong to the Yosts. It is there we meet the other young lady being fostered, Dewey (Taylor Abigail Rice). She is an 'influencer' working to get 5k subscribers. She is constantly on her phone as you can imagine. The Yosts also have a son, Mike (Carson Polish). He has a girlfriend who stops by Starr (Maddie Small). She is jealous thinking that her boyfriend is interested in Lily. There is also a farmhand, Clinton (Tim Novotny).
This last person decides to open up the box of items belonging to Lily. It is kept in the barn. What he finds it more than he bargained for as he is killed by Jack-in-the-Box. It is a matter of time before others in the house are attacked by what Lily fears the most. This is what Mrs. Culver was warning them about, but she knows more than she let on.
