Near Perfect.
4 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Who knew a movie that starts with a talking raccoon mumbling along to Radiohead's "Creep" could be a gripping, tragic, near-3-hour long blast? Nothing disappointing. It's not "Endgame" or "No way Home", but it's better than "Multiverse of Madness" and "Thor 2".

The F-word is amazing ("Open the F_____g door!"), so is the terrifying villain. I think the MCU is slowly getting R-Rated. Who knows, maybe in 20 years, Marvel Studios will produce a remake of "Pulp Fiction"? It's sad, it's happy, it's intense, it's scary, it's visually stunning, it's gripping, it's everything. Apart from it could have been a little bit longer...

How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014)

So funny you'll binge it.

Yeah, this is all you need from a sitcom you need to get through the loss of "Friends" after it ended. I swear to god, if this was a drama, it would be Suits.

So it runs around Ted (Josh Radnor), a twenty-something slacker in need of a girlfriend. So with his friends Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), Robin (Cobie Smulders), Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan), he goes out to find his future wife.

With quotable lines, funny characters and the most impressive comedic timing since Friends, this will no doubt go down in history as one of the funniest shows of the twenty-first centuries.

I was left speechless, and not in a good way.

I mean, wow. One of the worst MCU movies yet!

The trailer was better than the entire movie, and you hardly ever get that with a movie. It would probably be at the bottom of the ranking of the MCU franchise (if it even makes the list!). So, so sad.

It revolves around the sorcerer supreme... and his second in command, Stephen Strange. He then realises that his odd dreams are actually visions of another version of himself from another universe which features America Chavez. He then asks Wanda for help, but things don't go as planned.

Lame, boring waste of a premise. And that goddamn stupid post credit scene.

Get Out (I) (2017)

Horror done properly
26 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Jordan Peele shines as a director for his debut. It's bizarre that he can go from a slapstick comedian to the director of a horror-satire on racism. But it doesn't stop there. Oh no, this is more than you're typical horror picture. This is a social thriller-comedy. Well done, Jordan.

So it takes place around Chris (Daniel Kaluuya, the star of the show), a Black photographer going to meet his white girlfriend's family. He has doubts about them that they be racist. But they are not. So that doesn't explain why people of colour are disappearing near the estate...

Great timing and story, best horror of 2017.

No where near as good as the first two, but still good fun

This film disappointed. This film disappointed and surprised. It was not mind-bending or humorous , but it was fun.

So it revolves around a man we all know and love, Scott Lang (AKA Paul Rudd). He is an Avenger, a dad and admired by all ages. So his teenage daughter Cassie (Kathryn Newton) creates a quantum satellite, which gets sent and angers people (Pixels, anyone?). So instead of an agreement, they get pulled into a bizarre universe dictated by Kang the Conqueror (Jonathon Majors, The best of the bunch) who tries to manipulate them and lead them to a chaotic, eye catching quest.

Not too bad.

Very Funny

Gabriel Iglesias: One Show Fits All was awesome! I think he's hilarious and it's incredible how he can make fun of people without offending them. This is genius comedy from Fluffy and his stories.

So in this glorious special, Gabe takes on subjects like tours, alcohol, parenthood and encounters with Chris Rock, Vicente Fernandez and Snoop Dogg.

Obviously, nothing is perfect, so I would like to point out that the material should not rely on Fluffy's size and more on his other perks like his voice or his hat. But, overall, it was a hilarious special with just the right runtime. Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias, well done.

Nothing special, but worth watching.
20 February 2023
This film was entertaining, but overpraised by the academy for some weird reason. It's good for a certain type of people. Teens. I like the cast with Dylan O'Brian, Jessica Henwick and Michael Rooker.

So the story takes place around this guy called Joel, who had a girlfriend which was his world.

Then comes the apocalypse and everything changes. Joel is now living in an underground bunker with adults twice his age. He then escapes and tries to find his love, making friends, narrowly avoiding death, and talking to a dog.

The CGI for the monsters is dodgy. The story is short. This is an okay film.

Baby Driver (2017)
10/10
Like the critics say, beyond f@&£?!g awesome.
17 February 2023
This is my favourite movie ever. That's not hyperbole. This movie was sick! It had everything a great movie takes to be a great movie, and used it wisely.

So the story revolves around Baby (played by Ansel Elgort, the star of the show), who for 24/7 drives criminals around and out of robberies and was taken in at a young age by mob boss Doc (Kevin Spacey). So when he has an assignment to drive Bats (Jamie Foxx), Griff (Jon Bernthal), Buddy (John Hamm) and Darling (Eliza Gonzales), he expects it to be his last job and to live a life with Deborah (Lily James). It is not what he thinks. With a cool, quick layout, Baby Driver is not any type of film people will ever see any time soon.

Chris Tucker Live (2015 TV Special)

Really enjoyed it
16 February 2023
It so weird. I'm not a fan of Chris Tucker but this was comedy gold. Netflix, fair play to your stand ups. They're not as bad as people say, but this is one of their best yet. I haven't seen Friday so I didn't really get that bit, but after that it improved and improved until it was gold. So, it is in his hometown Atlanta, and he makes jokes about drive-thrus, trust and Michael Jackson. It is hilarious and a classic to remember. Non-fans of Chris Tucker, you will change your mind after seeing this, and if you enjoyed this, I recommended "Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias: One Show Fits All", but that's another story.

Literally the worst movie on Netflix
15 February 2023
I hated this film. I was looking forward to seeing it but was so disappointed about what it actually turned out to be. Trash. Trash that is too long. This movie takes place around two girls, both who want to be princesses, and don't get the life they wanted when they're dropped off at a school where Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk existed. Typical teenage, soap opera, Harry Potter garbage. I swear to God, this film angers me when it's on the top ten on Netflix. Who even enjoys this junk? Good cast, awful film. That's basically why I think the school for good and evil 2 should get scrapped right now.

Pretty awesome

Warning: Spoilers
I don't like sexy vampire stuff on the SYFY channel, but this takes it to another level.

So the show revolves around Reginald (Jacob Batalon), who is overweight, nerdy and scared to ask his crush out. But when he meets Maurice (Mandela Van Peebles), a vampire, his world changes. In a flash, he stands up to a bully, asks a girl out and feels super cool.

Little does he know he has been transformed into a vampire and has just entered a world of villains who want him dead. Great fun, yet weightiest at times, but is accepting at the same measure. I hope season two is just as cool as season one and I wish the best luck.

The Whale (2022)

It was okay, but Brendan Fraser was incredible.
12 February 2023
I liked this movie, yet it felt unfinished at the end, as if there was more to the story. Obviously, there were issues with the fat suit, but the performance felt genuine, as if it was coming from an actually obese person. I don't understand why this film gets so much hate, it was not that bad. But, to anyone who doesn't know what this film is, it is a sad, emotional tale about Charlie, a 600-pound man with heart failure and potentially days left to live, who abandoned his wife and daughter to be with his gay lover. He then realises that his daughter is flunking out of school, so then tries to help and bond with her, knowing that she won't want to see him, but trying to know he did one thing right with his life.

Insane
3 February 2023
This is awesome and I love it more than anything else on TV at the moment. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are incredible alongside guest stars such as Anna Torv and Nick Offerman. The clickers are nightmare fuel and it shows the dark and horrific side of modern humanity. The show takes place in an earth where a fungus infected the majority of the population, and two hardened survivors (played by Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal) have to get their way across a post-apocalyptic America in order to get a cure for her non-visible infection and bringing peace back to the Planet Earth before it is too late. Spectacular, Electrifying and Heartbreaking, this is the best TV show this year so far.

Trailer was scarier than the whole thing
29 January 2023
The story takes place when a girl loses her parents and has to stay with her Aunt (Get Out's Allison Williams) who is an electrical toy designer who works for David (played by Ronny Chieng - the only funny bit of the film) who is angered about rip-offs. Anyways, the Aunt is working on this robot doll thing called M3GAN (Model 3 Generative ANdroid) who she gives to her niece, but when the doll gets overprotective, things get gory. It was a fun film, but was just another killer doll movie and the trailer was scarier than the film. It was too short, and I hope M3GAN 2.0 won't be like this. I never said it was bad, but it wasn't scary.

Gripping, Darkly Comedic and Addictive as Hell
12 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Insane. The show is as amazing as Stranger Things 4, which I've seen 5 times. It shouldn't be PG-13, actually more with that freaking terrifying Hyde. And the twist! Tyler! Mrs Thornhill. I think Jenna Ortega is awesomely hilarious, and Enid was cool with the Wolf-Out and has that Scream vibe to it with the cool modernising of the original movies. I hope Tim Burton keeps making it as good as this, I'm a huge fan of Jenna, Hunter, Emma and all the other actors in this masterpiece of a horror show with a twist and turns that will confuse Sheldon Cooper and all geniuses who will watch it again and again.

Excellent
11 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Much better than the first one. My favourite was Daniel Craig with his Kentucky Fried, Foghorn Leghorn drawl. Good performances from Janelle Monae, Edward Norton, Leslie Odom Jr., Kathryn Hahn, Jessica Henwick, Kate Hudson and a short performance from Dave Bautista (who is quickly killed). Only problem was Madelyn Cline who was trash. Odd cameos from Ethan Hawke, Natasha Lyonne, Hugh Grant, Steven Sondheim and Angela Landsbury. Good plot twist with Miles and Helen. Who would have thought that after Star Wars, Rian Johnson would come out with this masterpiece? He and Craig should carry on, no question.

Very Funny
11 January 2023
She is a very funny person and has a lot of good jokes. The special shows how idiotic haters are and how people shouldn't care about the idiots who troll online. Funniest thing I've seen for a long time. Sure it was a little bit excessive with the Virgin Mary bit but I think she is very underrated and has humour for almost all the family. Fast-Paced and easy laughed at, it stands separate from Haters Back Off! Though it needed a sense of understanding and relatability, this is one of my favourite Netflix stand-up specials so far. She is an awesome person and gives life lessons about acceptance.
