Robin Williams Live on Broadway (2002)
Laugh? Did I ever!!
Taped in New York City in the summer of 2002, Robin Williams pokes fun at a wide range of topics, from plastic surgery to The Last Supper (if it were at a Chinese restaurant). The pace is insane, and Robin never shows signs of slowing down. He puts forth so much energy in fact, that he must constantly drink from the numerous water bottles that he has available on stage. This is at first distracting, but he uses the bottles as props so many times that you stop noticing he has it in his hands. Yes this is a little more "blue" than he's ever been before, so what? It IS funny, and not because of the language, but because Robin William has, as always, impeccable comic timing.
From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)
Only from the mind of Tarantino
I guess I'm biased, because I'm such a big fan of Tarantino. I also liked Desperado by Rodriguez. The first time I saw this film I missed the point where the switch to vampire movie was made (bathroom break). I was confused, but still enjoyed it. I've viewed it twice since then, and still liked it very much. This was probably for the performances by Tarantino, Clooney, and most of all Keitel. George Clooney proved himself a credible actor in this movie, I think. Although I agree with what has been said previously about his character being quite disturbed; I still found myself liking the guy. While that may say something about me, I'm sure that I'm not alone here. You actually get to like this murderer, but Tarantino's character should be locked up, and given a double dosage of lethal injection.
Eagles: Hell Freezes Over (1994)
The Essential Music DVD
This is, without a doubt, the best concert DVD in my collection. While I only have 13 music titles in my DVD library as of this review; it will take a remarkable concert DVD to match the level of this one. The sound quality of the DTS soundtrack is excellent. The performance by The Eagles is flawless. The image quality could be better, but it is still quite good. Even if you are not a die hard Eagles fan, it is still a worth while purchase for your collection. There is no question that there was a considerable amount of time spent rehearsing for this concert, it shows in so many ways.
Das Boot (1981)
Excellent movie
Excellent movie from the director of Air Force One. I originally saw this in German with English subtitles. After 10 minutes I didn't even realize that I was reading them. The English version is very well dubbed with many of the German actors from the original release supplying the voice overs.
A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001)
Misunderstood
I think that many people assume that AI will be another Spielberg sci-fi fantasy aimed at a younger audience. When they see the film they end up disappointed. If you watch this movie for what it's intended, you will enjoy it a whole lot more. This was originally a project for Stanley Kubrick so it should come to no surprise that this is a darker sci-fi movie than you are used to see coming from Spielberg.

Eric Clapton: Live in Hyde Park (1997)
Excellent sound and video quality.
Eric Clapton fans will be pleased at the selection of songs played in this concert. From old favourites to songs from his later recordings, everything is here. The DTS soundtrack is great and the video transfer is of a superior quality.
