Sea of Thieves (2018)
Horrible in almost every way
I got this game in March 2023. It is May 2024 now. I can't name one session of Sea of Thieves that was memorable or fun whatsoever. It also always has huge updates which aren't ideal for most computers. And everytime I olay it always says "Services Unavailable." The game never works right and is so unfun. This game is a total failure and is boring, too. I only got this game because my brother and friends started playing it and I got it on sale. We don't play it much anymore because it is just repetitive and has nothing exciting or entertaining about it. On the chance that you find no players on a session, all you do is collect treasure which doesn't even give you any advantage later on. It is just to add stupid accessories to your ship add your character. Also, it takes painfully long to sell your treasures.
Minecraft (2009)
Choosing between Survivial and Creative modes is the Best choice they made.
Minecraft is the best sandbox game ever! And to see how much it evolved is so fun. The updated are always exciting. Clearly minecraft is still attracting new players constantly. The game will never get old. Endless creations and ideas ware possible. Minecraft is not realistic at all, but the blocky world is special and unique. Some people prefer survivial while others prefer creative. The game can be repetitive for some but it will always give your mind sparks of creativity and excitement. Even after Microsoft acquired Minecraft from Mojang, the game hasn't gone downhill at all, as it would for most videogames. It's always handlers great at Microsoft. And finally, the massive community of minecraft comes together to create and play together online across thousands of online servers. I started playing minecraft in 2014, and although I don't play much anymore, I occasionally peep in to play an update or relax in the game with my friends. Minecraft will never be a thing of the past; it is known and remembered as a highly impactful milestone in gaming history.
SpongeBob SquarePants: SB-129/Karate Choppers (1999)
SB-129 Explores Nihilism?? / Karate Choppers cool episode about spongebob being awkward cause he doesn't like Karate i think
Season 2 episode 6 "squidville" has a synonymous message for the episode but in different settings. Squidward dislikes spongebob and patrick's presence so much that he leaves forever in a time machine that goes to the past then future! But spongebob and patrick keep coming back! He cant escape them in different timelines either so messes with a time machine and it breaks, making him stuck in a empty, all white place where "alone" is chanted, driving squidward into a state of panic, fear, and feeling danger. This is what it really means to be alone. It practically poses the idea of nihilism because squidward is fed up with reality in the beginning of the episode. Goes to show how "a perfect escape" is very imperfect. He luckily makes his way back to bikini bottom where he immediately sees spongebob and patrick when he opens the door of the time machine. He would usually find their greeting "annoying." but this time, he cant find himself to be agitated and i believe he hugs them. Haven't watched in a little but the first half of this episode SB-129 is in my top 5 spongebob episodes. Karate choppers is cool too tho!!!! Spongebob is put on the spot by sandy to do karate with her and a bunch of stuff happens.
SB-129 - 100%
Karate Choppers - 70%
comes to 8.5 so i need to round to 9.0.
Fall (2022)
not close to being a great movie but is thrilling in some aspects
This move is better than average. Before i start, i would give this movie around a 6.7, but i have to bump it up to a 7 for ratings sake. This movie is gold and bad. The beginning starts out pretty good. We see the story of the protagonist (i forgot her name), lose her husband... the plot twist of the protagonist's friend sleeping with her husband was an interesting twist and a permanent change of how the protagonist will see her friend as a person. But i didnt like how it was revealed. Anyway for the main plot, the idea is fun and enjoyable. When they get to the final 200 metere and the wall of the tower is no longer at their aid, almost any viewer will feel some fear themself. So that part of it is pretty impacting. That being said, segments when they were on top of the tower were dragging and their optimism was stupid because as a viewer we saw these issues. For me, the climax was at the time when the main character climbed to the top of the tower to use the bulb at the tippy top to charge the drone and send a call for help by flyong it to a motel or diner (i don't remember what) but then the truck hitd it. This is where the falling actions start, abd from this scene on-out the movie continues as average. But one thing i want to point out is how the hallucinations and psychological stress that were exhibited by these stranded characters. It makes you think of that scenario... if YOU were up there, cold, alone, dead tired, and almost hopeless. 6.7 for me, imdb rounds up to 7.
NBA 2K23 (2022)
It's average but not horrible
NBA 2K23 is a big transition from the last game because of the shot meter. Most people ive played this game with say the new shot meter is horrible. This os initially what i also thought. And in the beginning it's frustrating to time it and adapt, especially if you played a lot last year and are used to the old one. But the old meters are so easy if you are shooting with a half-decent shooter. I don't play MyTeam, but my friends have showed me and from what I see and hear there isn't much that is particularly great, but it doesn't completely disappoint. I think the frustation give people the urge to give a low rating, so the fact that it has a rating greater than 5 right now is impressive! Next year is the year!... (thats what die hard fans say every year.)
Naruto: Rimitto bucchigiri!: Hikari to yami (2004)
Greatness
Amazing episode for naruto. Naruto showed off his nine tails to its extent (for now) abd beat gaara. Crazy. Bro has now ended the short battle of sand village and sound abd leaf village. The episodes building up to this one were also consistently great. After this episode it gets slow for a long while but then gets good again. This episode was emotional and made had an important lesson that was easy to see. Never give up. Naruto's character portrays this mindset since episode 1, but this episode shows that in its full extent. Pretty good show overal ive watched to ep 100 i should finish though.
Death Note: Desu nôto (2006)
top 5 anime, also people glazing Light when theyre wrong
People saying death note lost hype after L dies. Thats crazy. It was better than the second half but the second half was still groundbreaking imo!! Even before L died we knew his successor would defeat light because L had solved the case but didnt have the evidence before he died. Ligjt winning would still be a good ending, but it wouldnt be as changing to his constant reign throughout the show! Come on, we knew he was gonna lose eventually. Near prol did win by luck, but also cuz gevanni is too smart! Light was also pretty much a 5v1 while also keepig the secret from the task force. But in conclusion, giving the last episode a 1 is actual light riding like you goofies cant accept that near won cause of milami messing up. W anime W manga L fanbase.
Leprechaun (1992)
Intriguing Concept, Horrible Execution
Only giving it a 2 instead of 1 for these reasons:
The concept of an evil and greedy leprechaun terroizing dumb people sounds pretty funny. And it is for a little while, but then the problems start coming up. From the beginning of the movie, the acting is laughably bad. I get that the characters are in a panic and can make some muscles moves that aren't logical, but they do that all movie and it gets irritable and frustrating. It makes you lose interest early on. Another reason is due to the characters writing. I know it's a cheesy movie and all production-wise, but non of tne characters ever grow own you, not even the little kid. And one more thing, all know that Jennifer Anisotn was the main girl. Her acting was really bad also.
Almost gave a 1, but a 2 is safe.
Batman (1966)
Great childhood show.
I watched this show with my brother and my father a long time ago, and the memories of it we're some of the best. So I believe there was two episodes per case. What I loved about this show was how goofy it was, but also the exciting cliffhangers. The disguises were never believable which made it funny at some times. And about the cliffhangers, Batman and Robin would quite literally be on the brink of death, whether it was due to a kidnapping of the one or both of them which would be seemingly impossible to get out of, or being led to the edge of a cliff. The "find out tomorrow" at the end of an episodes would always make want to watch it sooner than tomorrow. I would constantly nag my father if we could watch the next one. Rarely he would say yes, but usually he would send us to bed due to school the next morning.
A little off-topic there, but that was my experience with the Batman series. A classic which is both funny, intriguing, and in some ways amazing!
Home Sweet Home Alone (2021)
How much more can you milk it?
Even since the release of Home Alone 3 in 1997, people feel disappointed and it's understandable. Macaulay Culkin made the first two movies original, timeless, and a rewatchable chridtmas movie every year. Families around the world can laugh and enjoy this film to get them in the Christmas spirit. Who doesn't enjoy watching a genius kid outsmart sleazy thieves using boobytraps around his house?
My point is, the first two are classic, rewatchable films. Due to its rewatchabiliy, there is no need for a third, let alone SIXTH movie with poorer quality. Do they think bringing back a classic as a lazy modern film which brings no funny memories and is forgettable a smart idea? Not to mention the Home Alone series gets worse for every movie.
