Trainspotting (1996)

ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME!

Trainspotting has got to be one of the best movies that I have ever seen. It had a tight story, cool characters, and awsome direction from Danny Boyle (28 Days Later, The Beach).

It tells the story of a group of friends who are: Renton, Begbie, Tommy, Sick Boy, and Spud. All of these guys are trying to make it in the real world on their own. Except, they are homeless and decide to crash at whatever place they can find for the evening. Plus, they're heroin addicts. And as the story follows closer with the heroin addiction, we become focused on Renton who decides he's going to give up heroin for good. Except with the influence of his friends, he'll be back to addiction in minutes. Plus, all of the guys put their heads together for a big scam with Begbie in the lead.

I must say that this movies bears a striking resemblance to A Clockwork Orange with the themes and characters, etc. But this movie is very electrifying, entertaining, and very very hilarious at moments. I give the movie a 200 on a scale of 1-10.

Minority Report (2002)

Best Movie of the 2002 Summer!

Last summer, I went to see Steven Spielberg's previous movie A.I. Artificial Intellegence and I thought that it was an excellent motion picture. But also, last summer I heard that Steven Spielberg was planning to direct a movie called Minority Report about a group of futuristic police officers who catch serial killers before the crimes are even commited. I absolutley couldn't wait to see how this movie would turn out. So now, one year later, I went to the opening night of it and I must say that this was one hell of a movie. It was so cool the way that the future technology was developed, the way the special effects were created, and the best of all: Steven Spielberg did such a brilliant job directing the film. Movies like Minority Report only come once a year which is not enough considering that this is the kind of movie that people want to see. Things to enjoy throughout the movie are: the score by John Williams, the beautiful cinematography, the awsome screenplay, and the screen presence of a lot of the actors including Tom Cruise, Colin Farrel, Jessica Capshaw, Max Von Sydow. Minority Report will be one of the best experiences of your life.

Steven Spielberg, I heard, is working on another movie called Catch Me If You Can starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio which is slated to hit theatres over Christmas of this year. Hopefully I will get to see that along with the sequal to Lord of the Rings.

Funny as Hell!!

I first saw this cartoon when I rented the film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. The Disney studios decided to show this brief cartoon before the movie actually started and I must say, it was absolutely funny. I thought Steven Spielberg did such a brilliant job producing this funny segment along with cool action sequences.

A Real Opinion

In my previous IMDB review on this movie, I didn't give my strong opinion about the film. Instead, I gave nothing but a boring summary. Anyway, I just want to say that this movie is absolutley a must-see. It had beautiful music, fantastic settings, the actors were such a charm, the cinematography was exquisite, and the screenplay was very spellbinding. I felt terrible when I discovered that the movie didn't recieve any Oscar nominations. I will just say though, that this movie may haunt some audiences, but that should not stop anyone from seeing it. Watching it again takes a lot of bravery considering this movie has a tragic stroy and event involved. So if you decide to watch this movie, be strong and I'm going to say that it is perfectly ok to cry watching it. Crying while watching the end of this movie will certantly be a relief for certain people. But by the end, you will be thinking to yourself: "Superboy478 was right, this movie is a must-see." I do plan on renting it again soon so that I can remember what an excellent film it is.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989)

Two Times A Charm

In my previous IMDB review on Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, I don't feel that I gave my strong opinion on how I really felt about it. I'm going to say, that this movie was absolutley incredible. I loved the way it was photographed, the way it was directed by Joe Johnston, the way the special effects were created, and the producing by Jon Landau (Dick Tracy, Titanic) was abslutley top notch. Any critic that disrespects this movie is out of their mind, because the whole time that you are watching this movie, you will be 100% entertained and not bored at all. I recently heard this movie will be released on DVD without any special features! If you ask me, this movie deserves to have a special edition with a ton of features. I would for sure love to see how the special effects came to life. So if any of the producers or financers at Disney read this, please post pone the October release to a later one so that you can work on a freakin special edition. Please I beg you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cast Away (2000)

I Loved this movie to death!

Cast Away was the best movie of 2000 and deserved a lot more than what some people gave it. Tom Hanks went through so much trouble losing and gaining weight at times during the filming.

Fed-Ex supervisor Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks) has just returned from a business trip in Russia just so he can spend Christmas with his girlfriend Kelly Frears (Helen Hunt). After the celebration, Chuck finds out he has to go back to Russia to close a deal. When he agrees, he boards a plane not knowing that it ends up crashing at sea with him still inside. He hops in an emergency raft and awakes the next morning to find out that he is ona deserted island. He hopes every second that he will be rescued soon, well it turns out that he spends 4 years on the island all by himself. After 4 years of nothing but bordom, Chuck decides to leave the island and head out to sea hoping he will be found. Later, he is found by a supply ship and is taken back to America. What's weird is that when he returns, everything has changed and he feels even more isolated than when he was one island.

Robert Zemeckis did such a brilliant job directing this movie and he should've gotten a best director Oscar for his work on the film. Cast Away was the best film I saw of the first year of the century.

Heavyweights (1995)

An Enjoyable Camp Flick!

Heavyweights was a movie that will not teach you any lessons. All this movie will teach you to do is have the time of your life whenever you are released from school for the summer. However, I still think that the movie Camp Nowhere was a little bit better though.

11 year old fat kid Jerry (Aaron Schwartz) finds out that his parents are sending him to Camp Hope for the summer. He gets excited by the idea at first until he discovers that it's a camp for fat children. After he is forced to go, he arrives and meets a ton of cool kids even though their fat also. He immediatley fits in the group and everyone is happy until the owners of the camp discover that they're being replaced by the psycho health nut Tony Perkis (Ben Stiller). Tony puts the boys through nothing but a living nightmare because he makes them work out 24/7 and doesn't let them eat anything good or let them have any fun. So the boys put their heads together and work on a plan to take down Tony and take the camp over themselves to have some FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must say that this was one of Ben Stiller's very first movies and he did such a hilarious job with the character.

Heavyweights is a very entertaining family comedy that will leave you laughing even while the credits are rolling.

Ransom (1996)

The Best Film of 1996

The critically acclaimed box office hit Ransom, in my opinion, was a very good movie. There was a ton of intensity levels, lots of action, and quality acting. I was suprised, however, that Mel Gibson did not recieve an Oscar for his powerful performance. It was his best performance since Lethal Weapon.

Airline tycoon Tom Mullen (Mel Gibson) has only one thing on his mind latley. And that is his family which is his son Sean (Brawley Nolte) and his attractive wife Kate (Rene Russo). While spending a day in Central Park celebrating a science fair that Sean is involved in, Tom apparently turns the corner for one second, and comes back to discover that he can't find Sean anywhere. Hours later, Tom recieves a call from an anonymous person who apprently e-mails a graphic tape to Tom of Sean being gruesomely tortured. Tom now discovers that Sean has been kidnapped by a group of brutal killers who are: Clark (Liev Schreiber), Cubby (Donnie Whalberg), Miles (Evan Handler), Maris (Lili Taylor), and the leader of them all.... police detective Jimmy Shaker (Gary Sinise). Tom and Kate are told by the kidnappers to not involve the police or the F.B.I. or else Sean will die. They are also ordered to have $4 million ready to hand over in 48 hours. Secretly, Tom and Kate turn to an authority figure (Delroy Lindo) and his crew. Tom trys everything he can to cooperate with the kidnappers which doesn't work. Instead, Tom back fires on them and offers the $4 million to anyone who catches the kidnappers.

I must also say that Ron Howard did a beautiful job directing this movie considering he only does certain films. This is for sure one of his best pieces of work. Ransom is a must-see thriller!

Rain Man (1988)

A Memorable Masterpiece

Rain Man was absolutley a tear jerker. And I mean that in a very good way because the film delt with certain issues and there were scenes where a person would just want to drop to the ground crying their eyes out. It was truly a wonderful film to watch.

Car financer Charlie Babbit (Tom Cruise) has just found out that his father Sanford has just died and has left some things behind. First, he has left Charlie a classic car, but what Charlie is unaware of is that Sanford has just inhereted $1 million to Charlie's autistic brother Raymond (Dustin Hoffman) who has been held in a mental institution in Cincinatti, Ohio. Charlie travels to Ohio to meet his long lost brother and plans to get the money he feels he deserves. What happens is, Charlie kidnapps Raymond from the institution and they hit the road to Los Angeles. Charlie's plan is to keep Raymond until Charlie gets the $1 million. But along the way, Charlie turns from a greedy, selfish loser, into a caring person because he becomes close to Raymond and really develops a close bond with him. Their trip becomes the time of anyone's life.

I must say that Dustin Hoffman delivered a real nice performance as Raymond and for sure deserved the Oscar that he won for the film. Tom Cruise did very well also.

Rain Man is a movie for ages 14 and up and will teach you the beauty of having someone to look up to and love.

Chocolat (2000)

The Sweetest Movie on Earth

Chocolat was by far a wonderful film to watch. It had comedy, drama, and lots of other good moments. Even though the movie is a comedy, there are a lot of moments where you will feel like crying. I know I did.

A mysterious woman (Juliette Binoche) and her daughter move to a French village during a wind storm and immediately buy an old shop and apartment from a lonely old woman (Judi Dench). The mysteriuos woman turns the old building into a fantastic chocolate shop with lots of good treats. However, the towns mayor (Alfred Molina) begins to spread awful rumors about the woman and her daughter which leads to people not coming to the shop for a while. Then, a group of pirates come to the village who are led by Roux (Johnny Depp) who is a good hearted person. He takes an immediate like into the shop and begins to fall in love with the mysterious woman.

This movie needs to be cherished in peoples hearts forever because it is the kind of movie that will just make you feel good about yourself and others. I loved this movie to death from the first time I saw it.

The Sum of All Fears (2002)

Be Prepared!

With the threat of nuclear war on our hands to this day, this film will definetly teach you a lot about the government during wars and violence throughout the world. It is based on a novel by Tom Clancy and features the famous character Jack Ryan who was originally played by Harrison Ford in Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger, and Alec Baldwin in The Hunt for Red October. Now, Ben Affleck takes on the serious role of the famous CIA agent who will stop at nothing until the terrorists are finished off.

After discovering a nuclear missle buried in the sand in Israel, a powerful Ukranian terrorist buys it from a village and plans to use its power to create a much more powerful nuclear weapon and use it against the United States in order to make Russia and America enemies with each other. The plot is formed so that the bomb can go off at a football game in Baltimore. When CIA agent Jack Ryan (Ben Affleck) discovers the plot and the threat towards Americans, he does everything in his power to hunt down the terrorists before they cause destruction of the United States and Russia.

I thought that this movie was really intense but at the same time, very interesting and mesmerizing. In fact, it was one of the best films I have seen so far this summer. Ben Affleck took such care of his role and hopefully the producers will allow him to come back and play Jack Ryan again sometime soon.

The Godfather Part III (1990)

The Trilogy of the 20th Century

From Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola, The Godfather Part III was what declared the couple into a trilogy. This time, the story is even more intense and dramatic than the other two movies.

A dying Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) decides that he is tired of business and wants to spend the rest of his remaining days at his fathers home in Italy. So he and his family move from New York to Italy while Michael hands the business over to his nephew (Andy Garcia).

Produced by Mario Puzo (Superman), and directed by Francis Ford Coppola (Jack, The Outsiders). The Godfather Part III marks the end of a great era of filmmaking and movies.

The Godfather Part II (1974)

The Sequel of the 20th Century

From Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola, The Godfather Part II is the greatest sequel ever in movie history. This time, there are two parts of the story that are very easy to keep up with and that are both very entertaining.

The first part of the story tells about how Vito Corleone came to the United States at a young age to escape the horrors of the Mafia in Italy during the early 1900's and how he became part of the Mafia himself. The second part of the story tells about how Michael has taken over Vito's crime business and is planning to move the whole family over to Las Vegas.

Produced by Mario Puzo (Superman), and directed by Francis Ford Coppola (The Outsiders, Dracula). The Godfather Part II is a very intense drama but turned out to be the greatest sequel of all time.

From Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola, The Godfather, to me, was the movie of the 20th century. It had the perfect cast, screenplay, story, characters, set design, ect. It deserved every single Oscar that it was nominated for.

The Godfather tells the story of the Corleone family and their life of living in the Mafia territory. It tells how Don Vito (Marlon Brando) struggles to keep up with his business and how he will pass it on to his youngest son Michael (Al Pacino). The movie also tells about the life of Vito's oldest son Sonny (James Caan), the famous Fredo (John Cazele), and Vito's daughter Connie (Talia Shire).

Produced by Mario Puzo (Superman) and directed by Francis Ford Coppola (The Outsiders, Dracula). The Godfather is the greatest movie ever.

Insomnia (2002)

Don't Sleep! Enjoy!

I remember last summer when I had a bad case of insomnia due to nothin but fun. But when I saw the movie (2002 version), I was not only reminded of what no sleep is like, but what fun it was watching Al Pacino and Robin Williams become enemies.

Los Angeles detective Will Dormer (Al Pacino) and his partner are assigned to go to Alaska and uncover a mysterious murder of a 17 year old girl. When they arrive in Alaska, they are teamed up with beautiful police officer Ellie (Hilary Swank) and her squad. While trying to solve the case, Will begins to suffer from insomnia because of the summer non stop daylight. It even gets worse because while out hunting a suspect in the fog, Will accidently shoots his partner leaving him dead. Will recieves a call the next day from a mystery novelist (Robin Williams) who claims to be the murderer of the 17 year old girl and who saw Will murder his partner. It turns into nothing but a world of blackmail because the author threatens to turn Will in if there is no cooperation between the two.

I honestly think that Christopher Nolan is going to be a success because of his first two movies. He did such a brilliant job, that he deserves the best director oscar next year. And, I vote Pacino for best actor.

Bulletproof (1996)

Laugh Out Loud!

Bulletproof is one of those movies that the critics are obviously going to give a blow and thumbs down, but in reality, I really had a good time watching Damon Wayans and Adam Sandler dodging bullets, cussing each other out, just basically getting on each others nerves.

An undercover cop named Rock Keates (Damon Wayans) is planning to arrest long time friend Archie Moses (Adam Sandler) on drug accounts. When the bust goes terribly wrong, Keates is ACCIDENTLY shot in the head by Moses. Days later, Moses is arrested by the survived Keates and both are put into a danger situation with an airplane. After the plane crashes in the desert, Keates and Moses annoy each other the whole way down.

Damon Wayans (My Wife and Kids) and Adam Sandler (Big Daddy) star in this hilarious comedy that will have you laughing!

Co-Creator, writer, and producer Damon Wayans also stars as the fun, loving, caring, and nightmarish father of 3, Michael Kyle.

The show is about a married dad named Michael Kyle who has a sexy wife named Janet (Tisha-Campbell Martin) and three kids. Tow of which are growing into adulthood. Their names are : Junior (George O Gore II) who is a dummy at times but really is a cool bro, Claire (Jennifer Nicole Freeman) who doesn't care about anything but looks and boys, and finally there's Kady (Parker McKenna Posey) who is nothing but adorable and sweet with animals.

This show is meant to be hilarious. But at the same time, it will teach you lessons about what life is like. And the right person for the job of being a dad is Damon Wayans. I think that he does a brilliant job with raising, punishing, and loving his kids.

This show is my absolute favorite! I have never missed a single episode and don't plan to. I feel sad that the second season is ending this Wednesday at 7:00. I'll miss you Damon and the Kyles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw this when I was 12 because my family and I vacationed to Las Vegas and found that this mini-movie (47 minutes) was the only good thing on T.V. I recently heard that they took it off, but oh well. I already bought a tape of it.

It is really just a promotion of stuff to show people what there is to do while they visit Vegas. They just feel like entertaining the people in a much more exciting way.

Silver Bullet (1985)

A Weird Nightmare!

Stephen King's dark and horrific tale of a werewolf stalking a town, was so freaky that it will nearly mess you up for weeks, maybe even years and years......

The story is about a young 11 year old wheel chaired boy named Marty (Corey Haim) who comes from a broken home and a small town. He has two crazy parents, a rebellious teenage sister named Janie (Megan Follows) and a drunk uncle named Red (Gary Busey). When people in the town start being grusomely murdered unexpectedly one by one, Marty begins to suspect something. He doesn't know who it is until the 4th of July when he finds out that it is a werewolf when he shoots it in the eye with a rocket. Marty then goes to his uncle and sister for help so that they can stop the werewolf and save the town.

From Hollywood legend Dino de Laurentiis (Hannibal, Army of Darkness), Silver Bullet is a pure and authentic horror movie that is for a sure a classic that I would recommend.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)

Welcome Back George!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that George Lucas is back in the group after spending 2.5 years filming Star Wars: Episode II- Attack of the Clones. The movie was so good that I can't wait until 2005 when Episode III comes out. Last night, I was so excited to see all of the characters from Episode I come back to the big screen. That included: Anikan Skywalker, Obi-Wan-Kenobi, Queen Amadila, Mace Windu, Yoda, R2-D2, C3P0, Jar-Jar Binks.

The former queen Amadila (Natalie Portman), now a senetor, has traveled to a distant planet for business. When she arrives, it is discovered that a mysterious bounty hunter is trying to have her killed. So, she hires Obi-Wan-Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and a grown up Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christiensen) to protect her considering they are both Jedi knights. When they both accept the job, Anakin is told to take her to Naboo where she will be safe from the bounty hunter. When Anakin takes her there, he sees true beauty in her and she just sees the same little boy that she saw ten years ago. Friendship doesn't work for Anakin, so he tells her that he loves her and cares for her. She feels the same way about him, except she can't live a lie as can Anakin. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan-Kenobi is assigned to go to a hidden planet and find this bounty hunter before he strikes again. But, what Obi-Wan finds out, is that this planet is full of army's of heavily guarded Clones that are planning to attack Amadila and her people soon!! Obi-Wan ends up meeting their leader, which turns very bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personaly give thanks to George Lucas (The Indiana Jones Trilogy) for bringing a kids book to life and creating such beautiful settings, and very cool special effects. Also, John Williams' compositions were very exquisite and beautiful as well.

Written, produced, and directed by George Lucas, Attack of the Clones will have you cheerin throughout and by the end, you will be applauding!

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)

George Lucas is Da Man!!!!!!!

George Lucas did not direct a movie since 1977 when he directed Star Wars: Episode IV- A New Hope. So, I thought that this movie was a very good come back for him. I thought that the movie was going to suck, when actually it kicked major a$$ with the cast, the music by John Williams, the special effects, plus more.

Two jedi knights named Obi-Won Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Qui-Gon (Liam Neeson) have crash landed on a strange planet. While on this planet with Queen Amadila (Natalie Portman), the two Jedi's meet little Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd) and discover that he is for sure going to be a Jedi when he grows up. After watching him win a pod race competition, they decide to take him away from his home (with his permission first) and go train him to be a jedi knight. When they do, it is discovered that they have to do battle with a creature warrior known as the Phantom Menace. They figure that this battle will teach youn Anakin that skill of being a Jedi knight.

Written, produced, and directed by George Lucas (Raiders of the Lost Ark), Episode I was one of the best films of the summer of 1999.

Major Payne (1995)

Damon Wayans is da bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Major Payne is one of the funniest movies in the Hollywood community. I thought that Damon Wayans delivered a knockout performance as the loud-mouthed, gold-toothed, trash talkin, squeky voiced Major Benson Winifred Payne. He was so funny that I nearly had a heart attack while laughing at the same time.

After a major drug bust goes extremely well in South America, Major Payne (Damon Wayans) returns to Parris Island, South Carolina and finds out that the U.S. Marine Corps is throwing him out of the military back into civilian life. After two weeks of civilian life, Payne is let back into the military under one condition: go to Virginia and train a group of delinquints for an ROTC program at Madison Academy. Payne regretfully accepts the job and puts each of the boys into 8 weeks of living hell! It becomes a fight because the boys do what they can to put Major Payne out of their lives!

Damon Wayans (My Wife & Kids, Blankman) stars in this hilarious raunchy teen comedy that will leave you breathless by the end because you will be laughing your a$$ off! Trust Me!!!!!! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!

Blankman (1994)

Damon Wayans Has done it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blankman is what you would call a parody. And what I mean by that is that this is a spoof of the famous Batman television series from the 1960's. The kind of stuff it spoofed was: a relative being killed, a gangster wanting to take over the city, having a dumb sidekick, bringing a journalist to the hide-out, ect. It was still a hilarious movie with some memorable moments though.

Science nerd Darrel Walker (Damon Wayans) has been working on some pretty stupid inventions lately. He even has a stupid robot named J5. Anyway, he and his older brother Kevin (David Alan Grier) live with their grandmother. When she is murdered by crime lord Michael Manellie (Jon Polito), Darrel becomes so depressed that he makes a costume and creates stupid weapons, he turns himself into: BLANKMAN! A crime-fighting super-hero that will stop at nothing until the streets of Detroit are safe again! He even meets the sexy reporter Kimberly Jonz (Robin Givens). Kevin eventually joins him, but in the mean time, Kevin is more than annoyed by Darrel's behavior.

Written, produced, and starring Damon Wayans (My Wife & Kids), Blankman is a hilarious spoof that will leave you cheering!

The Last Boy Scout (1991)

The Hard Hit of Pro Football!

The Last Boy Scout is not a typical sports movie about the edges and turns of pro football, but really about action and suspense all put into an awsome movie from producer Joel Silver (The Matrix, Swordfish) and director Tony Scott (Top Gun, Enemy of the State).

Low-life Los Angeles crime detective Joe Hallenbeck (Bruce Willis) has been assigned to protect a showgirl named Cory (Halle Berry) who has apparently been recieving death threats from a serial killer. When she is brutally killed by a group of gangsters, Joe meets her boyfriend Jimmy Dix (Damon Wayans) who used to be the quaterback for the L.A. Stallions. Together, Joe and Jimmy follow clues that they hope will lead up to why Cory was murdered. Also, they find out clues about how the owner of the L.A. Stallions, Sheldon Marcone (Noble Willingham) is working on a plan to legalize sports gambling. Joe and Jimmy also encounter the ruthless mob leader Milo (Taylor Negron) throughout a day of chaos and action!

I thought that The Last Boy Scout was a great movie with everything that an action-adventure type should have. That includes: action, suspense, one-liners, sex, chain smoking, brain blowing, ect.

Produced by Joel Silver, and directed by Tony Scott. Starring Bruce Willis (The Kid, Unbreakable) and Damon Wayans (My Wife & Kids, Bamboozled). The Last Boy Scout will blow you out of your seat!!!!!!!

Swordfish (2001)

Joel Silver is the Man!!!!!

I thought that Swordfish was the #3 film on my top ten list for movies of the summer of 2001. The special effects were absolutley incredible, the acting was brilliant, and the writing was very bizarre. In fact, John Travolta's monologue in the opening scene was very slick because of the way he explained Hollywood's policys and styles of filmmaking. I also thought that the directing by Dominic Sena (Gone in Sixty Seconds) was very well done, and the producing by Joel Silver (The Matrix 1, 2, 3) couldn't have been better.

A recently jailed computer hacker named Stanley (Hugh Jackman) has been living in Texas on parole and has just had a visitor. His visitor was a sexy DEA agent named Ginger (Halle Berry) who has given him an offer that will reward him millions. Her offer was to have Stanley go to Los Angeles and meet a terrorist named Gabriel (John Travolta). When Stanley accepts the job, he meets Gabriel and discovers that Gabriel wants him to hack in codes to banks that will transfer unused government funds to Gabriel's account so that Gabriel can develop a whole new technology and intensity to terrorism throughout the world.

I love the first action sequence of the movie because it was the same camera concept Joel Silver used for The Matrix when Keanu Reeves dodges the bullets.

I honestly hope that Joel Silver will produce a sequel to Swordfish and have Dominic Sena come back to direct it.

Produced by Joel Silver, and directed by Dominic Sena, Swordfish is a knockout thriller that was one of the best movies of the summer of 2001!
