Yibeon Saengdo Jal Butakhae (2023)
so melodramatic
I have no idea how is this k-drama considered comedy. I was looking to watch a good comedy k-drama after finishing one comedy k-drama and liking it, only to end up surprised by this one. See you in my 19th life is a very tragic show, it represents melancholy and many other feelings and it definitely made me cry for hours although it's rare for me to feel this emotional over shows. If you're looking for a comedy show, this is NOT the one, I'm not sure of the original source material but the adaptation isn't comedy. But if you're looking for a show that will make you on edge and test your emotions and make you think about your priorities, then this show will make you have a good cry while doing so!
Young Sheldon (2017)
This show never fails to amaze me!
If you're looking for a sitcom filled with a talented cast (even the kids) this show is for you!
It has both wholesomeness and pure humor mixed together. Every character has underlying deep elements to them. I enjoyed TBBT so much but I had many questions. I'm glad I gave this show a chance because it brilliantly answered most of my questions, and I can't wait for more episodes to answer the rest of my questions and discuss different family topics. I saw a reviewer discuss how realistic and funny the characters are, and I couldn't agree more! Some people disliked the background laughter in TBBT but I didn't mind it, even better, this show has been as funny as TBBT! They're doing an incredible job and I can see this series being one of the golden sitcoms ever. My favorite part is when they apply TBBT references, like that one episode when young Sheldon was feeling lonely and sad then they ended the episode with the most brilliant idea showing the child versions of his future friend groups (Leonard, Penny, Amy, Howard, Bern, and Raj).
In short, I'm so glad I gave this show a go after finishing TBBT because it added more beauty to TBBT and Sheldon as a character, I love Ian's acting, it was flawless and very Sheldon-like. And so is Raegan's sarcastic and badass role, Annie, Zoe, Wyatt, and Melissa.
