Real Steel (2011)
1/10
Simply crap :( No story, no drama, no logic, no feeling, no acting, nothing :(
27 July 2013
One of the worst movies of this decade! The film has absolutely no script, no logic, no drama ... nothing.

They've probably spent some money on CGI, got a poster actor and then saved money on everything else : supporting actors, scrip, everything.

I actually can;t believe Spielberg put his name no this garbage. it might be that he was simply drunk or maybe this is a money maker by recipe.

The recipe is : poster actor, poster director, CGI + action = money.

Unbelievably bad movie. :(

Don't waste any of your time on this!

Don't waste your money on this either.

Boston Legal: Beauty and the Beast (2007)
Season 4, Episode 1

Glorious Season Starting Episode
27 September 2007
What can I say more ?! Usually , by the fourth season ANY series begins to re-spin stories, rely on guest stars , bringing "who shot J.R." kind of drama to get the same interest from the spectators . Not Boston Legal . Saffron Burrows and John Larroquette are good additions for the regular cast not like Lake Bell or Constance Zimmer that had very modest ... let's not say dramatic performance but ... very modest dramatic impact when compared to the likes of Christian Clemenson that , I must say , is a genius choice for a new regular . Still , one thing should be avoided : with the addition of Christian Clemenson's & Gary Anthony Williams' characters the show is stepping quite close towards the Ally McBeal content . Boston Legal is , unlike Ally McBeal , very dramatic and serious . That's the quintessence of it , while exposing such elegant and rich humor , the show exposes real, to the point, dramatic problems of the current economical, social & political situation in America . With this occasion I send out a huge THANK YOU to David E. Kelley for exposing the tragedy of the misguided ways of the U.S. government and U.S. society that distances itself more and more from the true values of democracy and humanity . Also BIG thanks to the same Mr. Kelley for showing everybody what a real friendship looks like . It's a lesson that we must learn again . I hope Bill and Jimmy get at least half as close as they are on the screen … I know Shatner has a great soul despite his eccentric style and Spader puts great value on life and human relations . Oh , and good idea with Mark Valley as the state representative . I hope we get more than 11 seasons from Boston Legal !!!

Not Quite As Mature/Adult Oriented As I've Hoped
2 September 2007
This should not be red as a suggestion not to watch the movie , but that's the impression it gave me . Also , it needs CLASSIC or , maybe , a little enhanced CLASSIC drawing not computer animations . In this case , computer animations ruin the pictorial atmosphere that characterized the new Batman Series . Maybe it costs more but it's worth it ! Also , the plot should have been more serious or insidious . The story is too simple . Besides , if it's a cartoon , the kids would buy it anyway . The music is good , the sounds are good but the computer generated animations and the lack of story complexity drags this project down to the level of a simple good episode of The New Batman Adventures . It is really not up to the par with The Mask of The Phantasm .

Wag the Dog (1997)

Best Movie After JFK, Fahrenheit 9/11, Loose Change, etc.
27 August 2007
These are the movies that open our eyes !!! America , with the help of Freud's nephew that was Hitler's main producer for selling the WW2 to the German people , learned how to sell it's own garbage to the American people and the whole world . Yes , after WW2 , Freud's nephew was employed by The Pentagon for more than 20 years . He is the one that "sold" the dismantling of Yugoslavia into 6 countries that are still raging social wars just because the U.S.A. was afraid by the fact that Yugoslavia and Romania could be presented as good examples of perfectly functional socialist economies . After working for Hitler , he was taken under the wing of the Pentagon to help them sell everything like Korea , Vietnam , Yugoslavia , Iraq I , etc . In real life , he was The Producer .

Don' believe the lies that the TV is selling you ! Do your own research ! This is the TV they want you to believe is impartial : NBC (National Broadcasting Company) is owned by General Electric, ABC (American Broadcasting Company) is owned by Disney, CBS (Columbia Broadcasting System), is owned by Viacom, and CNN (Cable News Network) is owned by AOL (America Online) Time Warner.

There is no free press . If you are against them they shut your whole life down . You can't go and say these for real and these facts must be disguised in movies otherwise any actor/producer/director might end up like Charlie Sheen .

P.S. Read the book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins .

Best Really Original Show Since ....
10 August 2007
This is really an original show. The story is great although I would really like that the good guys would always win , the image is great , the sound is great , the directing is great and the cast is OK too . The show is very realistic for me because I live in a country that's 99% full with such cops but there is nothing good nor smart in them . Everything is corrupt , everybody breaks the rules but never to serve any good . I think this is the only non realistic side of the story : usually , the guys that break the rules have no good intentions and no sense of justice.

The cast is perfect for this show . Michael Chiklis is the perfect image to represent the "cop" that takes his job seriously and doesn't eat donuts all day . Jay Karnes is a very talented actor . Glenn Close and Forest Whitaker are legends and , really , Forest Whitaker was too much into his role ... I'm not saying he exaggerated with the dramatism and character immersion , but I simply never thought that such a glorious interpretation was possible . It's like he was never acting ... he really was Lt. Jon Kavanaugh . Kenny Johnson was the perfect man for his role and it's bad this is not a SF show that could bring him back :) . I was surprised to see Anthony Anderson in this show . He's OK ... but I think he exaggerates with his own imprint over the character ... Too funny sometimes for a merciless gang leader .

The show is REAL and it represents the REAL WORKING of the political and administrative side of the city life . The only thing that is not oriented towards naturalism are the good intentions and moral integrity (although tainted from the beginning) of the Strike Team .

Great show ! Good story ! Good acting ! Congratulations !
