Anatomy of a Scandal (2022)
Another David E Kelley Faux English Series
I have watched a ton of English series. They typically have a great plot along with a bunch of sub-plots which they pull off brilliantly.
Now I see David E Kelley has teamed up to produce some sub-standard English dramas. First The Undoing and now this. Very disappointing.
The Undoing (2020)
Totally Overrated
I did not think I could make it through two full episodes.
I went back and checked the ratings and saw that David E Kelly wrote this so I figured I would keep watching. Big disappointment.
No idea how this is rated as high as it is.
Sweet Virginia (2017)
A story about nothing
There is sex and violence but no storyline that develops the characters at all that you even care what is going on.
One of the few movies where Jon Bernthal did not play a scumbag.
Virgin River (2019)
Most Annoying Characters On TV
I watched almost all of the first season. I am surprised I made it that far.
Every character on this show is annoying. No one can mind their own business. They are constantly making mountains of mole hills.
There was not one character I liked.
Da 5 Bloods (2020)
Story OK at best, political stuff ruined it
OK story at best. Should have checked the politics at the door.
Penny Dreadful: City of Angels (2020)
Not like the original, wants to be AHS
If you like the original and was hoping for more this is not it.
Tries too hard to be American Horror Story but comes up seriously lacking. No horror, no edge. Too many overdone scenes about nothing.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Did the writers/directors watch any of the other 7 seasons?
All we heard every season was how the dead were coming, the Night King was the epitome of evil, and how everyone was doomed. All the plot armor in the episode must have even harder to defeat.
The battles should have been more than one episode.
Fear the Walking Dead: Humbug's Gulch (2019)
This show started out great but has really gotten bad
That splitting the bullet with the ax was ridiculous. One more scene like that and I am done with this.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
Awful
There is a scene in the The Sopranos in which Tony Soprano is asked about the authenticity of The Godfather Trilogy. Tony's reply is something along the lines of one and two yes, three - I gotta ask if they saw the other two movies.
This finale (and the entire eighth season) makes me wonder if the people making decisions had watched the previous seasons. Such an amazing show ruined so D&D could do their Star Wars movie.
I hope people boycott D&D's Star Wars movie. #TheFansRemember
Madam Secretary (2014)
I used to like watching this show
This was a fun, light (emphasis on the light) show to watch. Then came season 5 with all the SJW stuff. See you later.
The Good Fight (2017)
Started out good but they ruined it in Season 3
I get that it is a show about liberal lawyers in Chicago but the non-stop anti-President Trump stuff is way too much.
The Butler (2013)
I enjoyed this movie until...
...I found out most of it is made up. This was passed off as a "true" story but it was really a hustle.
Bankier van het verzet (2018)
Boring
Too much banking. Drags on. People giving it high ratings must shills.
Executive Decision (1996)
Great Movie
Not only is it a great movie, it is THE best Steven Seagal movie ever. He dies off in the first 15 minutes of it.
Den of Thieves (2018)
Wasted Potential
First off I will say this movie is Heat wannabe.
With that out of the way this movie could have been great if they spent more time on the story instead of character stupidity. What was the point of Gerard Butler's character being so far off the deep end?
The ending saves it. I would have given it 4 stars if not for the ending.
The Alienist (2018)
Good but not great
It was good but the characters were too uptight and lacked depth.
Come and Find Me (2016)
Wasted Opportunity
Watching this movie is kind of like going to a restaurant for the first time. You order comes and not only does the dish look amazing but the portions are huge. Excitedly you take a bite and the food has no flavor.
Numb3rs: Convergence (2005)
Should have kept it simple
In an effort to be crafty the writers dropped the ball.
One criminal worked for an insurance underwriter and picked the families to rob.His partner used the families cell phones to locate where they lived.
The criminal working at the underwriter's office would have the families info including their address so why the need for the plot complications regarding using their cell phones to find out where they lived? No insurance agency would determine a price without knowing the location where the items reside.
Should have used the KISS method.
