the first of much controversy

Jellyfishing. I really don't enjoy this episode I consider it a Squidward torture episode and not a good one, SpongeBob and Patrick are really stupid to believe this, and the episode is just boring. The ending isn't satisfying either, Squidward didn't deserve it. At least they do care if he's okay and apologise, but this is pretty bad

Plankton! Wow, a way to introduce this character! And they introduce him with a dastardly scheme that makes him seem like a large threat, and SpongeBob calling a Squidward a mediocre clarinet player and Squidward fainting is just great! If you know what I mean, you know what I mean.

8.9/10.

SpongeBob SquarePants: BubbleStand/Ripped Pants (1999) Season 1, Episode 2

HAHAHA, IT'S A GIRAFFE

BubbleStand. We really see Squidward's character fleshing out here. He is so arrogant yet he secretly LOVES bubbles. The bubble art is so impressive for this show so early on; it's fantastic! Another great thing is the technique for the bubble blowing, it's so memorable and something I always quote if I'm using bubbles. Another one also filled with comedy.

9.7/10

Ripped Pants. Is it overrated? Maybe. It's not top 10 material but still this is a GREAT moral. For some reason, this show gets flack for dumbing down kids. LOOK AT THIS! It is comedic AND entertaining and has a good moral; *chefs kiss*

SpongeBob SquarePants: Help Wanted/Reef Blower/Tea at the Treedome (1999) Season 1, Episode 1

A great start to a incredible show

So we be doing every episode of each paring and we will start with Help Wanted

This is one of my faves of this season it builds up the intensity and has great jokes like Squidward asking for a neat line, only for the anchovies to just become a literal ocean

9.2/10 Reef Blower. I used to think this one was boring, but this one is quite entertaining! It is very in character for SpongeBob to do this and it makes the best out of a bad situation with the episode's production

8/10.

Tea Of The Treedome. Again, this is a great episode with loads of fantastic jokes but Sandy is a bit stupid.

9/10.
