This changes everything.

I was pleased with how this episode turned out. Finally I have gotten answers to so many questions I wanted to know the truth about. To focus this episode on Grisha's perspective was a fresh way of telling the story, separating it from the usual point-of-view characters, and a clever way of delivering all that lore.
I also liked the art design and animation for this new type of setting we get to explore, bringing a breath of fresh air into the visuals. The voice-acting was on point, the music was good and the final scenes were tense, ending the episode on a great cliffhanger.
Now, the reason I feel I couldn't rate this episode higher is mainly because of my issues with the narrative pacing and structure. Here, in the first 10 minutes or so, we get the loredump to end all loredumps! It's, in fact, so much information to process that it felt impossible for me to remember every detail without rewatching the scenes in particular a few more times, which feels a little cheap.
I prefer it when mystery based shows sprinkle out reveals on a consistent basis throughout its entire run, instead of dragging out the reveals for the biggest questions for several years (allowing people more time to predict what the answers are, or lose more and more interest in them over time) and then very suddenly giving you a boatload of answers at once. That's really my one criticism of how this whole story was handled.
In the end, I still highly enjoyed it, and upon a potential future rewatch, when I've had time to process all the information, I might even like it more.
