The Goonies (1985)
Be a GOONIE too !!
This right here is a true classic, when movies still had original stories. From the first minute it's just so entertaining. You see the friendship bond between all the kids, to have at that age is just priceless. The movie starts a bit slow, but from the moment they arrive to the "fake" restaurant a.k.a the Fratelli hideout, the movie really starts. When the find the hidden entrance beneath the fireplace, the adventure begins. It's a bit like Indiana Jones sometimes, with the falling boulders and dark halls and then when everthing else fails, and being followed by the Fratelli's, they finally find the Pirate ship, including one eyed Willy. With lot's of treasure's , the Fratelli's catch up and make them walk the plank, thank god Sloth and Chunk save the day and they can finally escape the cave, their parents find them and the Police arrest the Fratelli's, so its a happy end and nobody needs to leave, since they find some jewels. It's a true classic, i would recommend it to all Kids to see and grown ups too.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)
When part 2? It's THAT good!
As a spiderman fan, i didn't really know what to expect from this new kind of movie, being animation and all. But this movie blew me away!!
It has everything that a true Spiderman fan would like to see. It has webs, it has action, is has villans and most of all a young Spiderman.
He travels in2 a multiverse (Spider-verse) with Gwen Stacey by his side, to battle the evil Spot.
Obviously this is part one of this 2 part movie, but knowing how this movie ends, i have so many questions left and i hope they all get answered in the second installment. I don't want to spoil too much, but i would recommend this movie to all.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)
Not the same, but still oke-ish
The first 2 films where pretty good, the story telling was wayyy better in comparison to this Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania..
Michelle Pfeiffer was the only one who really stood out in the film, and also Cassie a tiny bit, but other than that, i did not enjoy the film als much as i did with the previous 2.
The whole " Quantum" realm is really anout nothing much other then it being a "different" realm then ours. Also the "learning" curve that Cassie has undergone is like just so-so.
I think imo the story would have been better if it wasn't situated in the other realm but in the real world and a different vibe/story with the focus on Cassie and the family dimensions.
I did enjoy the movie, but it could have been wayyy wayyyyyy better.
