a very cool sequel
18 April 2002
starring: Michael Ironside, Wendy Lyon, Lisa Schrage, Justin Louis, and Richard Monette.

plot: In 1957, Mary Lou Maloney (Lisa Schrage) burned to death right before being crowned prom queen. Now, 30 years later Vicki Carpenter (Wendy Lyon) starts seeing strange illusions, where she is Mary Lou. And soon, Mary Lou takes full possession of her body. Her friends, including her boyfriend, Craig (Justin Louis) realize that she is acting different. Bill Nordham (Michael Ironside), who is the one who accidently killed Mary Lou 30 years ago, knows that she is possessed by his old love. Mary Lou starts to kill off Vicki's friends, including the candidates for prom queen, and Vicki's super religous mother, and she continues to kill until she is crowned prom queen!

The sequel to Prom Night has nothing to do with the original. It got ideas from The Exorcist, Carrie, and A Nightmare on Elm Street. It is not meant to be taken seriously, its made for fun. The only way this is connected to the original is that it takes place at the same high school, Hamilton High. If you like The Exorcist, Carrie, A Nightmare on Elm Street, or Prom Night, see this movie!

Once Bitten (1985)
great comedy/horror

starring: Lauren Hutton, Jim Carrey, Karen Kopins, Thomas Ballatore, and Skip Lackey.

plot: The sexy vampire, Countess (Lauren Hutton) needs to drink the blood of a virgin three times before Halloween. Mark (Jim Carrey) is bored in his relationship with his girlfriend Robin (Karen Kopins) because she doesn't want to have sex. So Mark takes his two buddies Jamie (Thomas Ballatore) and Russ (Skip Lackey) to Hollywood to find some chicks to have a one night stand with. Mark meets Countess and she gets him drunk, he thinks he's having a one night stand but she drinks his blood once. When Mark, Jamie, and Russ go back to town Countess follows them. She finds Mark and drinks his blood a second time, then she starts following him to get a third. Soon, Robin, Jamie, and Russ find out that he is slowly turning into a vampire. Then, Mark is captured on the night before Halloween. Will Robin, Jamie, and Russ save Mark in time?

This comedy/horror about a sexy vampire searching for a virgin is fun to watch! This movie is hilarious and well written, and has lots of fun cheesy 80's music.

plot: Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) returns to Sunnydale after her summer vacation in L.A., she soon heres about a plan to bring The Master back from the dead, but she takes care of that by crushing his bones. Now, Angel (David Boreanaz) has lost his soul and joins Spike (James Marsters) and Drusilla (Juliet Landau) to bring the end of the world. With the help of Giles (Anthony Stewart Head), Xander (Nicholas Brendon), Willow (Alyson Hannigan), Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter), Oz (Seth Green), a werewolf, Jenny (Robia La Morte), a gypsy, and Kendra (Bianca Lawson), the new slayer, Buffy has to fight more monsters until having to battle the one man she never thought she would have to kill!

review: In my opinion, this is the best season of Buffy ever. It's got cool characters, especially the new members of the gang (Oz, Jenny). Their are more monsters then the first season, including an incan mummy, a half man/half snake creature, plus many more. And, the main vampires (Angelus, Spike, Drusilla) are better then in the season before. Also, the horror, romance, drama, and action is all much better then in season one. So if you liked the first season, you will love this one!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003)
season 1
26 March 2002
starring: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicholas Brendon, Alyson Hannigan,

Charisma Carpenter, Anthony Stewart Head, David Boreanaz, Mark Metcalf, Julie Benz, Andrew J. Ferchland, Kristine Sutherland, Ken Lerner,

and Eric Balfour.

plot: Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and her mother (Kristine Sutherland) move to a town called Sunnydale. Buffy wants to forget about her role of being a slayer, one girl in all the world chosen by fate to kill vampires, demons, and other forces of darkness. But she finds out that she is living on the mouth of hell. Buffy, with the help of her watcher Giles (Anthony Stewart Head), computer whiz Willow (Alyson Hannigan), regular guy Xander (Nicholas Brendon), and vampire with a soul Angel (David Boreanaz) fight many demons, vampires, and other things until Buffy must come face to face with the king of vampires, The Master (Mark Metcalf)!

review: This is a great show. It has everything: horror, romance, drama, action, comedy, and sci fi! The first season is fun. It has vampires, an evil witch, a giant praying mantis, hyena spirits, demons, boogeymen, and an invisible girl! Definitly watch this show. The first season is the third best in my opinion.

10/10.
