Monsters at Work (2021)
Disappointing Sequel: "Monsters at Work"
As a lifelong fan of the original Monsters, Inc., I was eagerly anticipating the release of "Monsters at Work," expecting it to recapture the magic of its predecessor. Unfortunately, what I got was a lackluster sequel that failed to live up to the charm and wit of the original.
One of the biggest letdowns of "Monsters at Work" is its storyline. Instead of offering a fresh and engaging narrative, the series feels like a rehash of tired tropes and recycled jokes. The plot lacks creativity and fails to introduce any compelling new elements to the Monsters universe. It feels like the writers were simply going through the motions, relying on nostalgia to carry the show rather than delivering a captivating story.
The characters in "Monsters at Work" also fall short of the mark. While it's always great to see beloved characters like Mike and Sulley, they are sadly underutilized in this series. The new characters introduced are forgettable at best, lacking the depth and complexity that made the original cast so memorable. As a result, I found it difficult to become emotionally invested in their journey, ultimately leaving me feeling indifferent towards their fates.
Furthermore, the animation quality of "Monsters at Work" is a far cry from the stunning visuals of the original film. While I understand that this is a television series and not a big-budget movie, the animation feels cheap and rushed at times, lacking the attention to detail and polish that made Monsters, Inc. Such a visual feast.
Overall, "Monsters at Work" is a disappointing sequel that fails to capture the spirit of its predecessor. With a lackluster storyline, forgettable characters, and subpar animation, it pales in comparison to the original film. As a longtime fan of the Monsters franchise, I can't help but feel let down by this uninspired and forgettable series. Save your time and skip this one.
Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! (2022)
This is Absolute Garbage!
As an avid anime enthusiast, I was eagerly anticipating the release of Eminence in Shadow, drawn in by the promising premise of a protagonist striving to become the ultimate shadow ruler. However, after subjecting myself to several episodes of this lackluster series, I can confidently say that it fails to live up to even the most modest of expectations.
First and foremost, the characters in Eminence in Shadow are nothing more than uninspired tropes recycled from countless other anime series. The protagonist, Cid Kagenou, is a textbook example of a generic, overpowered protagonist with a superiority complex, lacking any depth or complexity to make him remotely interesting. His supporting cast fares no better, with forgettable characters that serve as little more than background noise.
The storyline, which initially held promise, quickly devolves into a tedious and predictable mess. Instead of exploring the intriguing concept of a protagonist navigating the world of shadows, the plot becomes bogged down in repetitive and formulaic battles, devoid of any real tension or stakes. The attempts at humor fall flat, relying on tired gags and slapstick comedy that elicit more groans than laughs.
Furthermore, the animation quality of Eminence in Shadow leaves much to be desired. Character designs are bland and lack originality, with animation sequences that feel stiff and uninspired. Scenes that should be visually dynamic and exciting come across as dull and lifeless, failing to capture the viewer's attention or imagination.
Perhaps most disappointing of all is the wasted potential of Eminence in Shadow. With its intriguing premise and the opportunity to explore themes of power, identity, and ambition, the series had all the ingredients for a compelling narrative. Instead, it squanders these opportunities in favor of tired clichés and uninspired storytelling.
In conclusion, Eminence in Shadow is a forgettable and ultimately disappointing anime experience. Lacking in originality, depth, and entertainment value, it fails to leave any lasting impression and is best avoided by discerning viewers looking for something more than a shallow imitation of better anime series.
Megamind vs the Doom Syndicate (2024)
This Movie Somehow Looks WORSE!
Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate left me feeling thoroughly disappointed and underwhelmed. As a fan of superhero animated movies, I had high hopes for this film, but unfortunately, it failed to meet even the most basic expectations.
First and foremost, the storyline was predictable and lacked originality. It felt like a recycled plot from countless other superhero films, offering nothing new or refreshing to captivate the audience. The attempts at humor also fell flat, with tired jokes and clichéd punchlines that failed to elicit more than a forced chuckle.
The characters, including Megamind himself, were one-dimensional and lacked the depth needed to engage the audience emotionally. The Doom Syndicate, touted as formidable villains, were nothing more than generic antagonists with forgettable motives. The lack of character development made it challenging to invest in their struggles or successes.
The animation, while competent, did not bring anything extraordinary to the table. In comparison to other animated films that push the boundaries of visual storytelling, Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate seemed to play it safe, resulting in a visually unremarkable experience.
The pacing of the movie was inconsistent, with slow and dragging moments that left me checking my watch, wondering when the storyline would pick up. The climax, supposedly the highlight of any superhero film, felt rushed and anticlimactic, leaving me unsatisfied and questioning why I invested my time in the first place.
Overall, Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate is a forgettable addition to the superhero animated genre. With a lackluster plot, uninspiring characters, and mediocre animation, it failed to deliver the excitement and entertainment that audiences expect from such films. Save your time and opt for more engaging and original superhero animations available in the vast cinematic landscape.

Wish (2023)
Absolute garbage
The central premise, which revolves around a group of pixelated characters navigating a digital world, had the potential to explore intriguing themes. Unfortunately, the execution falls short. The film leans heavily on tired tropes, failing to bring anything fresh or innovative to the table. The pacing is inconsistent, with moments of frenetic action abruptly giving way to sluggish exposition. This inconsistency disrupts the flow of the narrative and makes it challenging to maintain interest in the unfolding events. I think this movie is a waste of time and potentional and I hope you get your money back.
The Shepherd (2023)
I'm glad they are still making these.
The way the movie was made really gits home for me. The way the CGI was done and how only in less than 45 minutes they had enough to make a solid plot. The whole premice of the movie is spectacular and thought prevocing. What was the most interesting is the props and places they shot these scenes at. Truly Breathtaking! The movie wasnt slow or boring, and the actors were giving there all! I would love to see if they could make a sequel or a full length movie becuase I think that this movie has great potentional! Im so glad that disney decided to make a movie like this and i hope they make more in the future!
Seirei Gensouki (2021)
Surprisingly well done.
First off wow. This is actually sensational anime from the way it was presented to the way it always delivers. I would highly recommand this anime to anyone who is new to watching anime or feels like a good pick-me-up! The mix of romance and action is wonderful. Btw This is not a cringe or weeb show. (Trust me I know) Dont trust the online reviews, simply wonderful plot and the ending is to die for trust me!!! If I were to compare this anime to anything else it reminds me of Worlds Finest Assassin! But nevertheless you will miss out dearly if you pass this anime by. But this is all my persective.
Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru (2021)
This is fantastic anime!
They did a wonderful job with the story and characters, they deserve and need to make a second season. It is nothing like redo of healer, just solid and attention grabbing anime. 10/10.
The story is perfect capturing a old and young audience, it has a killer intro that you can't miss and it never disappoints. The only thing I'm sad about is the cliff hanger at the end. They really need to make a second season and to continue with the story. In short, the anime is the best that I have seen, and watching it will paint anime in a new light or people old and young. I hope that everyone enjoys this anime as much as I have.
