Copper Mountain (1983)
What did you expect? Low expectations gives better results.
If you go in expecting this to be the worst thing you've ever seen, you will come out happy from the experience. If you going in expecting a lot of a 1983 short film with Alan Thicke and a young Jim Carrey...you're just plain ignorant.
I saw someone complain about spending $5 on it...well, I spent $8 to buy this and am not at all disappointed. I am of course I huge fan of Jim Carrey, to fork up $8 for this. The scene where Jim imitates Sammy Davis Jr. is worth the money alone...and also the singer following him isn't that bad either, heh.
All in all...people are just ignorant if they expect anything less than a sub-par movie.
This is a definite must if you can find it and am a die-hard Jim Carrey fan...or Alan Thicke fan for that matter. Just watch it and enjoy it and don't much such a fuss about it.
Freddy vs. Jason (2003)
Fantastic Movie
This movie has been ten years in the making and for the most part it has been worth the wait.
You will never be able to please people with horror films, because most people are not fans of the genre. But what are people expecting with a film like this? The movie is meant to entertain you with a slash-slash here and a slice-slice there. Think about it, there are 10 Friday the 13th's and 7 Nightmare on Elm Street's. These movies are not going away so people who are not accustomed to them or fans of them should just not comment on them, because these movies are not made for them.
The movie delivers just like the rest of the films, it entertains and that is the main point. The story is written well for what it needed to accomplished and it brings us a sense of understanding without being wrapped up too much into a storyline and drawing us away from the real point that we came to see the movie, the unique deaths as well as the fact that these two iconic figures are finally meeting!
After 10 years since Freddy's claw was shown in Jason Goes To Hell, they are finally brought together. I was satisfied with how it was brought forth in the beginning as well as the entire duration of the film. And of course the ending accomplished what it needed to do, leave it open for both these characters to return in whatever future projects they could be involved in.
As a horror fan, I would give it a 5 out of 5 Stars. Out of an average, uneducated person to these two characters, I give it a 5 out of 5 Stars. This move did was it was meant to do, entertain.

Another Great Flick!
99/100 Times you can bet that a movie that has Denzel Washington is going to be great! And boy, is that true! Maybe it's 100/100, because this is yet, another great movie, and maybe my favorite Denzel movie other than THe Hurricane. We will wait to see if it stays that way!
