American propaganda
12 May 2022
Why would you bother with this nonsense when there's superior Russian versions already? Ah it's because Americans would rather the actors sound like the British and do not like reading subtitles and need lots of graphic sex to keep them interested.

But if you would rather watch a more accurate version that actually has real Russian speakers then I recommend you the four seasons of Ekatarina instead of these measly 4 episodes.

With great power comes no responsibility
22 November 2021
Dumb and dumber is what this show is becoming or maybe this is all it ever is. I hope it gets better but this is probably all it ever is and it's definitely the worst adaption of Spider-Man I've ever seen as it's not even remotely true to the character at all.

More like kids deadpool
21 November 2021
The animation and voice acting is fine, but the characterisation of Peter is completely off.

He breaks the fourth wall constantly by talking to the audience and explaining every fine detail of his life and eventually signs up to join Shield by the end of the episode.

So this is more like deadpool for children than Spider-Man.

Rugrats (2021– )

Skip it.
20 October 2021
Don't recommend Rugrats reboot. A lot of adult humour and sexual undertones with the adult characters. Even if it goes over the kids heads, adult humour such as this has no place in a children's cartoon.

Not sure why they made this but it's yet another unnecessary reboot.

Underrated
20 April 2021
I don't get the negative reviews here, yes it's far from perfect, but to say it's about white American saviours is a joke considering it's written by Germans. The show paints a good picture of immediate post war Berlin and the premise kept me glued right through the end.

This show is far from "woke" and it's characters for the most part are well written. I'd much rather see more historical shows with the occasional gaffe than the modern trash we have set in the present day.

It's also nice do have a mix of different languages, so do make sure you have subtitles since about 50% of it isn't in English.

If this is a modern kids show, then I don't want my kids watching them. The male leads are incompetent idiots. Move along, move along.

Best of the bunch
16 March 2019
This episode focuses on the friction between both Red Bull and Renault and Daniel's decision whether or not to leave for pastures new. This episode really benefited from not dividing its focus like previous ones did and showing the politics off the track. The only slight against it is that there is no mention of Honda or Red Bull's slagging off Renault publicly during past seasons.

A mostly true narrative
15 March 2019
This episode focuses on the Rwd Bull rivalry, except it doesn't really. It paints Daniel as the hero and Max as the villain, which isn't fair because it isn't true. A minor subplot is the Williams Stroll, but we all know that doesn't end well. Oh and apparently there's also a world championship taking place too, but you wouldn't know that by watching this series anyway.

Title race? What title race?
13 March 2019
This episode continues the trend of ignoring the title race due to the contenders refusal to participate, so we're left to see the two Spaniards battle for the scraps left behind. Is it worth watching? Sure, but just remember that it completely skips over race two and three and jumps straight into races four and five. It's unfortunate since we miss Daniels race win in China and we still haven't seen anything from Max either. This epsiode is much more like a mini documentary of Carlos and Fernando and not really focused on the racing at all. Be sure to watch the race highlights on the official F1 YouTube channel to know what you missed.

Formula 1 - B Class
13 March 2019
It's a shame that the title contending teams refused to be a part of this series and it really does put this entire series on the back foot since they can't focus on the battle for the championship, which in itself was one of the better ones we've had in the past few years. This episode focuses on Daniel Richiardo and Kevin Magnussen and their own aspirations for the year. It is great to see some behind the scenes in both teams, but except for a few f bombs, there really isn't much to go on from this epsiode. It doesn't show any other drivers, not does it even show Lewis's brilliant drive, Kimi's retirement or how Vettel's gamble paid off and gave him the lead of the race much to Lewis' frustration.

They really should have made this epsiode longer and focused more on other drivers as well, but it is what it is, not thanks to Ferrari and Mercedes.

Remove BB8 from this and you'd be hard pressed to know if it was Star Wars or not.

Not a lot happened in this epsiode, but it is nice to see that Anakin have better chemistry here than they do in the films.

Great start to a promising series
7 October 2018
I was excited when I saw the trailers, and what Star Wars fan wouldn't be? But it has gotten off to a promising start. It introduces our main character and his mission and cast of characters. I love the animation style which is akin to Volton and the wife use of aliens from all previous eras. If comparing this pilot to the past; Rebels and TCW, this by far surpasses them in all aspects.

What Secret Life?
17 January 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this movie with zero expectations and came out of it feeling clueless. Its supposedly about a secret of of some regular Joe in a regular job, but aside from a few wacky dreams, I didn't much see any secret life. He's interested in a girl at work, but they lack any chemistry whatsoever. They only talk about this one photo that Mitty needs and it seems rather pointless. So he goes to Greenland, then Iceland, then back again, then to Afghanistan, then back again. Does anyone else wonder where he got all that money from? Yes there were a few cool sequences promoting Iceland or Greenland or wherever, but it felt largely redundant. It was pretty much a mission to get a stupid photo for a now defunct magazine. So about the secret life...? Umm?

War is Hell
23 July 2013
First review here on IMDb so I'll keep it short.

This movie is fresh in my mind as I can literally see the credits fading on the other portion of the screen.

This is a great, superbly acted movie about the horrors and futility of war. There really are no "villains" just different shades of grey, as both side is portrayed as just as guilty as the other.

It shows both sides of the war and how they are both fighting for control a small piece of land and at the same time continuously asking the question of "why?"

There are some moments of camaraderie between the two different sides as well, so it isn't all just blood and guts, yet it is more gruesome than Hollywood films.

In summary, if you want to see a good war film aside from the usual Hollywood remakes and rehashes then this one is a good one.
