30 for 30: Jordan Rides the Bus (2010)
Season 1, Episode 18
10/10
Nice to see moments where Jordan looks human

Pretty good retake on the time Jordan went to try and play professional baseball. Usually anything to do with ESPN it's very one sided and the athlete appears alien like and can do no wrong ( e.g Lebron James ) this is often due to sponsors and athletes being in bed with ESPN. However in this episode of Jordan and baseball they dive deeper into the actual events of him not being good enough to cut it - he comes close and tries harder and harder, but he just is best suited for basketball.

Some good recounts from actual people around Jordan at the time and also some interesting and fun stories from the players Jordan had.

One of the best 30 for 30.

Summer Promise" is a documentary that delves into the harsh realities faced by young kids struggling to escape the clutches of the streets. The film sheds light on the multifaceted challenges posed by drugs, prostitution, and gang influence, while also highlighting the impact these struggles have on the lives of the young protagonists and their parents.

The documentary's strengths lies in its ability to humanize the subjects, providing a platform for them to share their experiences, hopes, and fears. The audience becomes emotionally invested in the lives of these young people, witnessing their daily struggles and the toll it takes on their mental and physical well-being. The filmmakers avoid sensationalism, opting instead for a compassionate approach that fosters empathy and understanding.
