Enjoyable.

The chemistry between the two leads is almost tangible, music, overall sound & picture builds up seamlessly to the on-point plot throughout the runtime. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend.

J. Carpenter for such emotional and accurate - immaculate even - portrayal of a vulnerable, fragile and very sincere character. So genuine and moving - I give the series a 10 out of 10 for her performance alone, despite the weak ending.

Collection of scenes with K. Stewart demonstrating various outfits. The main character is shown to be a bulimic hysterical (she should see a doctor), dialogues are vague and meaningless, and overall this is a very dull and tedious exercise. And, of course, cheap product placement, cos, you know.

Clunky montage.

Otherwise it's quite likeable. Leads are believeable and solid, the story feels sensual. Didn't like the idea of speculating on a dead person's privacy though. Again with the LGBTQ agenda maintenance and the hype around it...

Enjoyed it to the bits.

Warning: Spoilers
I am astounded by the cold-bloodedness with which the relationship has ended(i mean, how can you say to a person whom you had passionate sex&lived with that you no longer love them?! You don't say such a thing even to a complete stranger, let alone someone you were scissor-banging not long ago!), but the breakup and the cafe scenes are masterpieces of emotional intimacy depiction - thanks to the leads, of course.

Good Time (2017)

Couldn't understand what this movie was about.

Inconsistent plot. Why did they have to rob a bank in the first place? What's the deal with the grandmother & girlfriend? Who's the money guy letting out criminals from prisons and what is his relation to the main character? Why did the screenwriters leave so many unanswered questions for the viewer to speculate on? What happened to Connie in the very end? Why kill off the secondary character? And why on earth is this movie called "Good time"? I'd prefer this flick answered those questions rather than just leaving them raised.

I love this movie.

And Kristen Stewart in it. I think she did an excellent job portraying this vulnerable, susceptible & facile character. I love how the camera sticks to her during dialogues & closeups. And the slight coarseness of her otherwise childlike voice is irresistible. Very watchable and moving overall.

Underwater (2020)

Yet another collage of Kristen Stewart closeups.

Pleasant to look at, but interspersed with emotionless dialogue & lacking plotline, which would make a viewer care about the characters. The action just pours down upon these people out of the blue without any hint of a cause or any of them being at least somewhat connected to what's happening or to each other, diminishing their motives & actions to those of laboratory rats being experimented on. The narrative touches a subject of a person being active about one's life and not giving up, which is a decent message, supported by the lead performance, however, unnecessarily ruined by the devastating ending, devoiding the movie of its wholesomeness. Overall a senseless & forgettable endeavor.

Oh, and the way they are running(!) at such depth makes me think none of writers had ever tried to even walk underwater at, say, 3 meter depth, let alone running like that under an 8-mile-thick layer of water. It's simply impossible. Utter nonsense.

Too neat, and safe, and tidy.

A technicolour yawn of adoration. Unfortunate hairdos & product placement all over the place. Kristen hiding her tattoos, clearly having much more to offer acting-wise, than the dull script utilizes. This is a cartoon for ten year olds at best, but with far too many scenes of alcohol consumption.

A lead actress-centered movie.
26 February 2021
Watch it if you seek enjoyment from her sorrowful, detached and disturbed looks in some fancy and less fancy outfits. Otherwise skip it: there is no real plot in this movie and it is merely a hollow shell of a real story with no actual substance inside. I only watched it for those sad, depressing, but nonetheless delightful closeups of the lead actress.

Big question is how can the main character be a smoker, if she has a heart condition. It's inconsistent.

Not a bad message.

To my understanding this movie is about a human connection, which despite the unconducive circumstances can and should be made. Kristen Stewart is so young & unsophisticated here, that it makes her portrayal of a naive and innocent character very raw and touching.

Boring and quite disappointing, i gotta say. Not at all what i expected from such cast. Why did they agree to this nonsense? What did the author(s) mean by this remained a mystery to me and even a 2 for this forgettable and senseless trash is a bit much.
