CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000–2015)

Great show but waned into mediocrity

I watched this show earlier but recently I watched the series again on Netflix. As I came to the end of the series, I realized that what seemed so good a show actually became an eyesore after the character of Finn enters the show in the later seasons of the show. This character is the worst of all in this show. I know Elizabeth Shue is a versatile actress but her character in this show is very stupid and totally unprofessional. A CSI who is always flirty, two times divorcee who hops into a bed so easily and falls into trouble so easily for so many times. The character is portrayed as a total unprofessional CSI who has the time to hops into beds when she is in the middle of cases. Except for this I think the show at most times is good.

Furies (2024– )

Could have been better

Surprised to see the overall rating. Maybe the French liked it the most. Weak story line, fuzzy characters, bad acting and direction. Both the Furies have expressionless wooden faces, especially the younger Fury. I read in one of the reviews about the actress may have gotten this role because of the casting couch, but though I do not agree to it completely, she is not a good fit for the role and she is very bad at acting. And then the introduction of the second boyfriend, whole role does not have any impact on the story except that the character was used to show that the younger Fury can have sex. And it is not even funny when both the boyfriends fight for her. At least the first boyfriend had some say in the story to show how she was a normal girl until her father is murdered but the second boyfriend is ridiculous and he too is a very bad actor. The first and the last episodes were a bit consolation in a rather a bland show. If the role of both the boyfriends were to be reduced or deleted the series would have ended in 5-6 episodes.

Control Z (2020–2022)

Sofi character is ridiculous

I think there is no need of 3 seasons. The first season was good and then from season 2 everything fell apart. It is so ridiculous that Sofia loves the person who ruined all their lives and she breaks up with Javier at a drop of a hat. I think the acting was horrible. And all the actors as students don't seem to study in a high school. Sometimes the plot gets interesting but then it thins by itself. The ending is a total mess.

And all the characters are in the series till the end. And nowhere in the episodes does there rise any suspicion on anyone. Direction to an extent is okay but then the acting is bad.
