Not very original

Yes the movie was well made and I did like it.

But, All the scenes seemed to be the same as the original movie which I admit I haven't seen for a while. There seemed to be a lack of originality in this movie. Twice as long and yet nothing seemed to be added.

I couldn't find any characters I wanted to either love or hate.

The stillsuits are strange too. Why is there a tube running to the nose and why don't they cover their faces?

They have really nice skin for a culture that runs around in sandstorms.

Good casting. Good idea for a movie.

I'm not sure what age group the humor was aimed at since most of it seemed juvenile. A lot of it made me cringe (OK, I'm older) The moral of the story needed more work too. The movie had its moments but it seemed lacking overall.

Mission: Impossible: Kitara (1971) Season 5, Episode 20

Satisfying

Not a very technical episode but the mission runs smoothly and you have to love the irony. When the bad guys are loading the gold into the back of the vehicle for the team to drive away with, I don't know how they kept the smirks off their faces.

First season is done

I like the characters. I like Jessica. But it's such a soap opera. After one whole season pretty much nothing actually happened. Sure some facts came out, we know more than we did.

Did anything get accomplished? I think not. The bad guy is still there. The homeless are homeless. The city attorney is leaving, but will she really leave?

The show is full of "What's going to happen next season?"

Frankie Drake Mysteries (2017–2021)

Nice cast and good costumes

It's a nice cast and involves two women in a detective agency as opposed to private citizens. They work with a female Morality Officer who wants to a police woman/detective and a female coroner.

The period costumes are just great for those of you who like to see historical fashions.
