The Ghost Inside My Child (2013)
Difficult To Rate This Show
I totally agree with the reviewer of 12/20. The stories of these children and their families is fascinating, believable and they fit with research done for many years by legit past life researchers such as the late Ian Stephenson and Jim Tucker at University of Virginia. But the production quality is simply terrible! The sensationalized, screechy soundtrack; the overdramatic, repetitive scripting; even the name of the series, greatly detract from these engaging tales. The creators apparently were intent on making this into some kind of a horror show. It's NOT. These are incredible human interest stories, and would have been far better presented as such. I'm happy to have watched the entire thing, and give credit to the families and those kids for having shared, but this series had the potential of being much, much richer if the creators had realized the value of the material they were working with .
Fahrenheit 11/9 (2018)
Moore's Most Important Film
This is Michael Moore's most important film (to date). It's also his most terrifying. He leads the viewer through the labyrinthine American political scene, building one situation upon the next, Flint, Parkland, Trump's election, the West Virginia teachers strike kicking off a nationwide movement, grass-roots activism rising - they're all interrelated - much of it was not reported first person in the detail Moore presents. Live military exercises held in already beleagred Flint? I live in Michigan and I didn't hear about that!!! This is a must-see film.
