Midnight Peepshow (2022)
Modern masterpiece
I really enjoyed this movie, each chapter full of twists and turns as it brings you face to face with a horror of the dark web and video on demand extremes. Each story is cleverly executed, captivating, and sends a real chill down your spine as the gritty and sinister plots unravel, with a great twisted overlaying story tying them all together in a brutally scary and dark package. This film is a definite ten, it binds together feels from Hostel and Saw, as well as bringing a fresh edge that really.puts it in a class of its own. Midnight Peepshow feels premium production quality at all times and introduces us to some incredible stars of the future within the cast as well as the production and writers team. I hope to see a lot more from them.
Snooker Man (2024)
Fun on film
I really enjoyed this Mockumenatary, firstly, because I am a keen fan of rhe indie movie era, and mostly because it is actually a shrine ro rhe Sam Cassy and Nick Hayles videos portfolio, the entire feature length included numerous nods to their previous works and in some cases, to themselves in person ,loved it Chihuahaa man was a stupid crazy number and somehow the sequences incuded in this made it legend. The lead is funny and captures thr movies premis correctly, making snookerman an absolute contender in the mock/documentary style films era and we can t wait to see what comes next in the catalogue.
They're Outside (2020)
Very original found footage concept
I first saw this film at Fright Fest and have watched it a few more time since and really enjoy it, its a great original take on the found footage genre of films and the supernatural aspect of the film could definitely be expanded on. The ending is very good, as a package this film is very well thought out and mixes folk legend myths with agoraphobia in a well polished indie horror and suspence production. The characters are believable and the dialogue is good, the way the story progresses is great and tension builds as the film progresses, this is certainly one of the best indie found footage movies to release in recent years and definitely worth a watch.
Heckle (2020)
A great retro ondoe slasher concept
I really like the idea and the vibe this movie was going for and i would love to see this redone with a higher
budget because the foundation and core idea behind this is really so cool. The retro 80s feel is presented well throughout the movie with an instantly nostalgic feeling soundtrack, The movie has great potential to be a hit slasher, the vcr scene would sit perfectly.in most horror films that were popular during rhe 80s, the twist ending was genuinely surprising and sinister developments to the storyline add a good amount of depth. This film.is a great addition to the indie horror film world and hopefully gets expanded on over time.
