The Shield: Postpartum (2006)
Season 5, Episode 11
Lem
21 March 2006
Warning: Spoilers
In a soap opera, he would be back next season as a twin brother or something like that. Lem dead....it is enough to make you stop watching the show. I almost puked when I saw Lem die. It was like loosing my own partner. Lem was the innocent one, the moral conscience of the team. Hell, of the show. He was the one always trying to do a good thing, until the end. He was trying to help the little kid who cut his hand. He was the guy who never had anyone else. He always wanted to do the right thing. You know who should have died? Kavanaugh. I wanted to see Vic give one good kick to his face in that final fight scene. Make the man bleed. But, the show can only go so far. I think it will take nine months for me to decide if I want to watch the show next season. The show is on the downhill now. THey have jumped the shark.

High Incident (1996–1997)
Why Why Why did they cancel it?
19 July 2002
This show was great! To date, it is the only police/real-life drama show I watched religiously. This show was beautiful in everyway. It was powerful, emotional, touching, and just great writing and filled with great actors. David Keith's role was awesome. I still remember the episode where he busts through a door of this house were a husband is beating his wife, and Kieth pounds the guy into the ground. One of my favorite scenes of all time in any movie or TV show. I hated that they left me hanging with one officer paralyzed, and another in a coma after the shootout. Hopefully, some day this show will be available on DVD or something.

Space: Above and Beyond (1995–1996)
My top rated show of all-time
19 July 2002
In order; Quantum Leap, Space: Above and Beyond, High Incident, Nowhere Man, Enterprise, and 24 are the favorite shows of all time. This show was great. It ended too soon, as most of my shows do. The final episode killed off most of the people though, so even if it had come back the next season, there wouldn't have been too many familar faces.

I am happy to say that I have all the episodes on my computer in either avi or wmv format. I love the show, and I got my wife hooked on it too. There are a lot of people who love this show still. It has its own cult following.

Quantum Leap (1989–1993)
A great show, and a TV legend
19 July 2002
An absolutely perfect show. It wasn't too technical, it wasn't too Sci-fi. It had the drama of life, and offered some comedy at the same time. Instead of seeing the same person with the same people dealing with their own life, we saw many, many, many different lives all being influenced by one great man who in the end could be deemed a saint. I am happy that the show was able to finish, and just disappear like some other great shows. The show had a good conclusion. It was happy, but it wasn't sappy or ultra-moralistic and joyful. It was the perfect ending for such a case. There isn't a thing they could change about this show. The only thing they could do to make it worse would be to make a movie for TV. Those type of things usually ruin a good show. Quantum Leap though is definitely a TV legend.

Loved it back then...
19 July 2002
I would probably find the show corny if I were to watch it now, kind of like watching the Dukes of Hazard now. You loved it then, and thought it was the greatest, until you grow up and realize that it was cheap and filled with corny lines. Either way, I would love to see this show again. I remember seeing Jesse as his true self in the opening of each show. Looked like a hell-spawn from what I remember. Very cool though. It was a fun show for when I was 14. I wish someone would pick it up and show it, like the Sci-Fi channel. THat would be great.

Fast cars...bad acting
16 July 2002
As others have already said, I didn't have an interest in seeing this movie, even though my friends always made a big deal about it. The only way I was seeing this movie was if I didn't have to pay for it, which I didn't. I enjoyed the fast cars, because, I like fast cars. I am sure that this movie, and the sequel which is scheduled to come out next year, will forever be a cult classic amongst the import-race car enthusiasts. Yet, those people will watch the movie not for the amazing acting or directing or writing, but for the fast paced car scenes. This is the way I would only watch this movie again, just to see the fast cars. Vin Diesel was boring, monotone, and simply unbelievable as a person. His speeches were well rehersed, but they came off as phony and unemotional. Paul Walker was perhaps the best actor in the movie. I have seen him in other films so I know this wasn't his acting high point. I would have to blame the director and/or the writer for this. Walker had his moments, but there were some very lame ones too. There were too many points in the movie that left me hanging. Diesel's character and the leader of the Asian gang exchange some words early on in the film which builds the tension and the excitement for the rest of the movie. The whole time I am thinking that we are going to see a hard core drag race match-up between the two characters- and we never do. We see a fist fight between them, but it isn't what I wanted. It wasn't what the film pumped up. The final scene was just about pointless and useless for the film. Nothing was resolved. A drag race and a car is demolished. Out of everybody, we know that one person is dead, another wounded, a couple MIA, and nothing is certain, or even hinted at what the future has for the two main characters.

It had good editing, and good cinematography, but that can't make the movie. Bad acting, bad directing along with a bad script simply made the movie bad. I give it a 5 out of 10, only because I wanted to see the cars, and wanted to see if it was going to get any better. I was really anticipating a nude scene, or even some more skin with Michelle Rodriguez, yet that never happened either. I was disappointed by her role as well, since I had heard all this excitment about her in the movie.
