El tagrubah el danemarkiyyah (2003)
terrible film
Its a real shame that egyptian cinema's still produce such rubbish until now. Egypts biggest star adil imam has been responsible for producing most of the rubbish in the last 30 years, but this is probably the worst ever.
the story revolves around a newly appointed minister, and how he has to deal with a visit from a danish women and his four sons who he raised on his own. the film is filled with unfunny jokes, plenty of sexual references that are just there for shock values.
Adil Imam should probably stick to theatre plays where he has produced some great ones in his life, if he continues to do films like this one he will just embarrass himself.
La mujer de mi vida (1998)
great telenovela
great telenovela I have always been a fan of telenovels, I know some might criticise the acting and the story lines, but for me i see them a bit of an escape from reality. "La Mujer de mi vida" is probably my favourite telenovela, and this is mainly due to the great chemistry between the two leads (who ended up getting married in real life),
The story is filled with holes, and the acting is sometimes laughable, but if you like telenovela, and you prepared to overlook some holes in the storyline then you will enjoy this one. overall its a good telenovela.
Ahlam Hind we Kamilia (1988)
good but filled with coincidences
this is one of the better egyptian films of the eighties, ahmed zaki is great as usual and so is najlaa fathy, but the film is filled with coincidences that are unlikly all to happen. and the editing leaves alot to be desired, overall a good film but could have been better
