Brutally touching.
9 April 2004
this movie is the most believable representation of the crucifixion as it is presented in the bible.

it's indeed touching, and achieves the main goal in art: leaves no one indifferent.

if you never read the bible (the movie is mostly based on the books of John), this movie is a good way to approach it.

i recommend it to everyone.

Violently touching.

PS: great directing and brilliant acting.

if there's art & entertainment, then this is definitely art.

Quills (2000)
nice movie but disappointing for real Marquis De Sade appreciators
7 December 2003
the movie is rather good with great quotes (in a movie based on Sade what else would you expect?), but for all that know more of Sade the movie is not by any means biographical. maybe in the beginning, but then the abbe starts becoming the main character, which i disliked. anyway i enjoyed the movie, but when i knew a movie about Sade was out I, personally, expected a lot more...

Silver Bullet (1985)
average movie

technically good lightning and nice directing. the story is kinda weak, the acting is rather ok but overall i'd give it 2,5/5. if you're planning to watch a great thrilling movie...well this is not the one...and the ending just ruins it a little more...

who said movies couldn't portray reality in its most pure form?

entertaining... the story ...well...could have been a lot better.there are a lot of gaps in the movie.it could've been filled with a lot more elaborate story.even though...outstanding performances by Mr. Malkovich and Mr. Dafoe.the rest of the cast keeps it up doing a fine job too.the directing did their role in a basic but effective way. not bad.not beautiful.worth watching mostly because the performances of Mr. Malkovich and Mr. Dafoe.

Not that ugly...just a bit too predictable maybe...

well i've just watched it and well it was good. if you like this genre you might be entertained by it. good performance by Rebecca Hobbs.and great directing by Scott Reynolds. about the story it could be better.a lot of cliches (traumatized-kid-turns-into-a-killer kind of thing...) even though its not bad.in my opinion, the ending could have been better .and when i say this i dont say sad ending.just not as good as it could have been.
