Stupid plot - shouldn't work, but does

I sat down to watch this having read no reviews, or seen anything about the movie. I didn't even know it starred Jim Carrey.

Which was a a good thing, because I think that any review would have put me off the film. I enjoyed it right the way through. The humour was in bad taste, but funny. Some people wouldn't like that, but I do ;)

The plot is totally stupid, and shouldn't work, but I found the film involving - no getting up to make a cup of tea. The ending was predictable, but there you go. Everyone would complain if it had worked out any other way.

To sum it up, and this will probably be very controvertial, I watched Pulp Ficton last night and out of the two film I enjoyed this a lot more.

Good mindless fun

Personally I enjoyed this. I often just want to sit down, relax, ad watch a film that I don't have to think about and will make me laugh. This fits the bill perfectly and I throughly enjoyed it.

A lot of people wold put down this film, mostly in my opinion to make themselves look sophisticated. I think if most people were honest they would say they had liked this film, at least to a certain extent.
