Maybe I need to watch this again. But for the life of me, I can't help but fail to understand how so many reviewers gave it a 10 rating and waxed poetic over the incredible brilliance of this film. Being a card-carrying nerd, and a fan of the director, was so looking forward to thus movie. It sounded like something that I would really enjoy. Instead I was, frankly, rather bored and disappointed. The plot jumped around seemingly not knowing how to form any kind of cohesion; the dialogue was rather jumbled and difficult to follow; and three hours of all this got old very fast. The only part that was very spell-binding was the actual detonation of the first bomb, and a movie like this shouldn't depend on blowing things up to be captivating. Well, I'll probably watch it again and give it another chance, if I think I want to try to risk sitting through another only mildly interesting three hours.
