Cocktail (1988)
excellent, but a tad predictable
**********SPOILERS************SPOILERS**************SPOILERS*******
ultimately, i found this movie very predictable, yet very good. it was a great movie, fairly interesting. the only problem is that as soon as Brian met Doug, i knew Doug was going to die. When Brian and Jordan were on the beach, I knew Jordan was pregnant. When Jordan (at the end) told Brian she can make him scared, i knew they were going to have twins........ due to the predictableness i give it a 7/10.... (if i hadn't predicted main parts i probably would have given it an 8,8.5)

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
best movie ever!
The Shawshank Redemption is the best movie ever made. I first saw this movie last summer and really didn't know what to expect, given all the stupid early 90s movies that are out there. But once about 10 minutes in a realized that this was going to be a great movie, and it was. It, in my opinion, portrayed what it really would be like to live in jail and, for me, how unfair the justice system can be given andy was obviously innocent. They way he escaped was pretty cool too. So, if you have not seen this movie as of now go out and rent it. It is definitly worth it. ***** outta *****
Oliver Beene (2003)
Are YoU GuyS Nuts?
come on people, this is a good show. yes, it may be similar to the wonder years, but its different. And just as good. Its a generally funny show and its nice to see andrew lawrence (ted) again. I hope this series lasts more then one seaon, its gunna be good.
Who Gets the House? (1999)
not a bad movie
"who Gets the House" was a fairly good movie. It had a wonderful cast including many canadian actors/actresses. It had a good story to it and was worth the watch. It was more a childrens movie, but id say anyone can really sit down and enjoy it. It also delivers a message about parents who seperate. I give this movie 7/10.
8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter (2002)
great
ok, im 15 years old, well 16 in like 2 weeks, but thats beside the point. Anywho, I thoroughly enjoy this show. It is very close to my family and i can relate to both rory and carrie. This is a show that keeps my parents and i laughing and laughing. They cast everyone perfect. And ill tell you this much, it must be good because for the last few years i refused to miss that 70's show but once this started i gave up on Red and Eric... and started watching this show.
Maid in Manhattan (2002)
booooooooring
Ok. this is your typical romance-comedy, or its supposed to be anyways. I didn't laugh once through out this so called comedy. It was simply a waste of my time and money. If I had to pick one good part of this movie it would be how cute and what a good actor played j-lo's son in the movie ( Tyler Posey ). So guys, don't waste your time or your money on this one.
Dazed and Confused (1993)
awsome.
I found this an excellent movie. I recommend it to teenagers or people who grew up in the 70's. Its the story of the last day of school '76. The incoming freshman are getting rookied by the incoming seniors (at the highschool). There original plans get ruined, but that doesn't stop them from having fun. Anyways i don't want to spoil the movie so i wont say anymore butt i definitly suggest you take the time to watch this movie. Its got a great story to it and some good tunes through out it.
Bring It On (2000)
a surprisingly good movie
I'm the type of person who doesn't really consider cheerleading a sport. so i avoided this movie for a couple of years, but eventually i decided that i should see it. After seeing this movie i couldn't believe how good it was. I mean it was good enough that i watched it again with in the next few days. So even if you are not a fan of cheerleading take the time to watch this movie.
American Pie (1999)
Best movie ever
this is by far one of the funniest movies i have ever seen. A lot of older more "mature" people claim that this movie is crude and unfunny. Well i'll tell you this i'm willing to bet that if they even bothered to sit down and watch this hopelessly hilarious film they were probably laughing. I mean Seann William Scott and Jason Biggs made this film so funny. so, if you havent seen this movie, i suggest that you take the time to watch it.
Kontora (1987)
best game ever
This is by far the best game i have ever played. Although i was only one when it came out, some how i came across the game and love playing it. Almost every summer i set up my NES just to play Contra. I think all the new systems are missing what NEs had, just plain and simple fun. no gimmicks, flashy lights n stuff.
