I caught the pre-screening of the movie "College", it was great~! I hadn't heard much about it before seeing it, so I didn't have any idea what type of movie I was going in to watch. It turned out to be hilarious! The three main actors are teen heart throbs, which would usually turn me off, but they were all really funny. It's all about their weekend trip to visit their future college. They try to play it cool as if they were already college students, not high school students, and along the way get into all kinds of crazy situations. It's a well rounded comedy, you'll laugh the entire time. I'd check it out.

It's hard to write about this movie because there are so many great surprises in it and I don't want to spoil them! I can say that this was a great movie. You certainly get what you pay for (for once!) and much much more here. Not knowing much going in about Uma's talent, I am extremely impressed. And equally impressed with Evan Rachel Wood as well, who plays the youth version of Uma's character. I will sum this up as one the great films of the year. Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. - Hold onto your seat during the bathroom scene, this one's a major nail bitter. Hope you love it! I did, I will most likely see it a second time.

As an ex-amateur wrestler, I have seen a lot of this stuff first hand. But until now the use of steroids or performance enhancing drugs was very hush hush. This movie is very true to life and reveals the truth behind this mystery.
Steroids are not limited to sports pros or Olympic athletes, these drugs are everywhere. People you would never suspect are using them, your neighbor, your teacher, possibly even members of your own family.
It is about time someone has lifted the veil off of this issue, and this movie did a realistic and honest job of doing just that. Thank you to the brave participants.

After seeing this doc, I have Surfwise and the Paskowitz family on the brain! Their choices and their way of life is so thought provoking, maybe not 100% agreeable, but definitely thought provoking. The fact that this family is so different, and so hard to understand is what makes this story so intriguing . However, some of the points made by the parents are very important and hold a lot of weight. This man was a doctor, weighted with incurable anxiety and insomnia, he decided a new way of life would cure his ales and it seems he was right. A doctor walking away from modern medicine and turning to unproven, pipe dream cures. Very interesting, glad I watched it, this movie will give you a new out look on life.

Well...! This movie sure did satisfy the sexual appetite! The leading lady is fearless on screen leaving nothing to the imagination. Well, that's not true, there is a little left to have fun with.
I went into the theater knowing I would be happy with the movie, but I didn't realize I would like it as much as I did. The sexual content was unexpected (and much appreciated) but it didn't carry the whole movie. The movie would've been great with out it, it was just an added bonus. Although a nice touch, it was not needed, the story line was out of this world and the acting was top notch.
I feel like I should mention the soundtrack as well, although I don't know any of the songs or artists by name, it was very well done and went well with the movie.

Not just a horror film

The Signal is a horror film, yes. But it offers much, much more. It could pass as a dark comedy, or even a love story. That's one of the things I like about this film, it has so much to offer. You're not just subjected to one single genre like in so many other horror flicks. Here you get the best of all worlds and all are done very well. I defiantly didn't expect to laugh during this film, but I did, all while being freaked out by the blood and suspense, and being touched by the tender love story. What a pleasant surprise and a nice break from the typical horror films.
