This episode deals with Vic's loss of her not yet born child. Ferg's girlfriend's mother is dealing with confusion resulting from chemotherapy. Chance Gilbert's family is at large. Henry and Jacob have a mishap on their way to the FBI. The way in which Vic's unborn child is handled is pure magic, very emotional and tragic. Several sequences are shown through the episode. We are not sure what's going on there until late in the episode. Once we realize what we're really seeing, the sadness hits home. The cinematography is gorgeous as well as the locations, making the sadness that much more real. This episode is a masterpiece. One of the 2 best episodes of this series. Vic's acting in this one should have won an award. Excellent.

One of Disney's Finest Mini-Series

I saw this as a kid (yes, long ago). But, more recently, before Vault Disney was trashed by that network I saw this series again (this time as somewhat of an adult). It was still brilliant as a western series with Tom Tryon very impressive on those horses. What a great rider. Great series, apparently based on real events in the late 1800s. Great action Western, family style, a la Disney of the 60s. But still good enough to be shown today. Where is it, Disney? Please either show these or put them up for sale.
Basically, this series follows Texas John Slaughter through life's tragedies and accomplishments. As his family grows so also does his fame as he becomes a lawman in the Old West near the turn of the century (the 20th, not the 21st).
Great family entertainment even today.

This documentary pits the old Western against the backdrop of the real West and its denizens. As your host rides through real places, flashbacks to Western films contrast the reality of the Western flora and fauna with that shown in the old films. The style is sarcastic, and educational. Comedy without being over the top. As your host rides through the West you learn a lot about the local animals and plants and why many were not ever shown in any Western.
This film (seen on HD) is a real cinematic treasure, showcasing the sights and sounds of the West as only HD can. Kudos to Discovery Channel for showing this great hour of educational and fun entertainment.

Lucy and Bob in a 1960 romantic, satiric comedy. What more could you want?
This is very aware for its time and has some wonderful period scenes. Hope and Ball seem to have very complementary comedy styles which play extremely well off each other.
This movie came out way back in 1960, yet Bob Hope mentions problems raising kids in the electronic age. How forward looking.
The black and white format takes nothing away from this movie, including the scenes of Acapulco when they're alone together.
All in all, an extremely enjoyable movie. I like Lucy much better in this style than her slapstick routine, although she's great in that too. Give this one a look sometime, it's worth it.

I have been watching this show on and off since its inception way back in the early 90s. I have missed (thankfully) most of the episodes so that now, in re-run, I can see first run shows (late at night when I'm most awake!). The show makes an impression on you with its sometimes mundane, sometimes eerie suspense, sometimes horror effects, and just plain scare tactics that leave you to wonder what's coming next. And then there are the just kidding around ones that make for great Halloween fun! The show lasted about 10 years. A big success in modern times and with good reason. There are so many great episodes it would be hard to play them without including almost every one of them. The original Twilight Zone still gets my vote for all-time best. However, that had to fill only 1/2 hour each week. Much more difficult is a weekly hour-long show. I like to compare movies I see to X Files and realize that for a weekly show to be that good to compare to movies, this show truly is a gem and a classic. Paranormal and that dark moodiness that was a trademark of this show is apparent in many of the episodes. A tribute also to the actors/directors for the great performances they could get out of the cast members. This show is timeless!

Why are Nicolas Cage and Ellen Burstyn in this movie? I identify both of these people with having had many quality roles over the years. Why would either consider being in this ridiculous film? Absolutely one of the worst films I have seen in many years. And I'm usually very forgiving and try to find good points in a film. There just are not many in this one.
The first 10 to 15 minutes might be considered to be a good start to an exciting film. But that's about all there is.
I could not figure out why this film was shown to a crowd of older people on a Saturday night. This is obviously made for the 10 - 14 year old age group and even that group would find many problems with this movie.
Hopefully, all cast members will move on to better work in the future, including the writers.

Very good show

One of the best shows currently playing on TV. Glad to see it has made it to the end of the 4th season. Amy is a very talented lady and I always enjoy the shows that close with a scene at the house where Maxine and Amy live. Richard Crenna added a touch of class to the show, and although he will be missed, the show will be just fine on its own.
The only other show possibly better than this one currently on TV is Gilmores.
