Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
W-O-W
WOW is all that I could say. It is cool and scary at the same time, and is a lot better than the first one. It sticks more to the book, and I think the actors and actresses did a great job! Though there were some bloopers and everything, who cares? It doesn't make it less different, its cool! I think Daniel Radcliffe did a great job and improved his acting and everything. To make a long story short, one of the coolest movies ever made, if you loved the first movie, watch this one, you would not regret it! 9 out of 10, since nothing is perfect! =0)
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
W-O-W!
I really loved the second movie, and I actually think its better than the first one, it has the same characters, different setting (Manhattan, obviously) and double the fun and laughter! It shows Kevin all grown up and everything and finds himself in a different plane heading to nowhere else but-NEW YORK!!! Finding himself with the meanies from the first movie, he hatches another plan to catch the bad guys, with another problem with the fancy Plaza Hotel personnel when he discovers that his father's credit card was cut-off. Yes, that means he's back in action!!! A funnier, wiser, stronger, and all in all better Kevin. If you want a good family movie loaded with laughs and fun, watch this movie and you'll surely have a great time! I'll give this movie a 9/10, since nothing is really perfect! =0)
The Wonderful World of Disney: Home Alone 4: Taking Back the House (2002)
One of the Worst, Undetailed Movies ever!
Okay, so it was a Sunday night, right? So, relaxing in the couch, when I suddenly turn on the television when *BANG*- I see the 4th HomeAlone movie. It was hopeless and had nothing to do with the first two movies. Why couldn't they just get the little kid from HomeAlone 3 and erase the 2 kids Megan and Buzz (the three kids don't even look like the original ones!) and call it HomeAlone 4:The Dumbest of them All??? No offense to all those who love the movie(I hope there aren't) and I don't think it is funny at all...
****SPOILERS****
Okay, so once again we are inside "Kevin's" home with the smaller and thinner Buzz, her "Oh,sorry...no can do" sister Megan, and...wait- where are the other kids? Oh-well, and their mother. Notice that the father isn't there because he and Kevin's mother just got divorced and has a girlfriend who has a remote-controlled mansion. Like, yeah, right! Have you ever heard something as phony as that? And they have a nanny for that! Well, if you have a remote-controlled mansion, shouldn't your "home" be in those magazines and TV-shows where they feature the "Top 10 most beautiful and spoiled homes"? Then, there is the dumb criminal, with a dumber wife with her. Then there is the rich and "perfect" almost-stepmother who looks like a good person at first but turns out to be nothing but a woman as dumb as the criminal, I mean, it looks like she can't even read! Then there is the royal family with a son who is the prince and hangs out with Kevin at the end because he thinks it is "cool". As if! In short, this is a bad movie, I'll give it a 2 out of 10, since I'm in the mood for giving points today!
Lifestories: Families in Crisis (1992)
I loved it!
I just watched 1 of the stories- the thing about the anorexic girl (played by Calista Flockhart). We watched it for health class and we didn't even know it was her! We enjoyed the movie because it was realistic and nice and I hope to watch it again if I have it on tape. An 8/10.
The Wonderful World of Disney: Toothless (1997)
TRUTHLESS
The movie has no point in it-just the fact that some dumb kids do dumb things to loose their teeth and meet a tooth fairy. It is completely insane, the roles were poorly played and there is no moral next to it. The movie is Dumb with a touch of Duh.
1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992)
IT'S OK
Don't sulk, Gerard Depardieu- it's quite a good movie, and your accent doesn't make it less interesting. I watched this movie at school for Social Studies and it amazed me how they really made it look so real, my classmates and I thought that we were in the place of the Tainos. It is an inspiring movie, and I know most of us say that the actor who plays Christopher Columbus' accent is terrible, but shouldn't we pay more attention to the REAL events, like when Columbus first set foot in the Americas? If you pay attention to it closely, you would really say "WOW" because I think this is a pretty good movie. I would give this an 7 out of 10.
Anne Frank: The Whole Story (2001)
BRILLIANT!
I watched this movie a year ago and I absolutely loved it! The actors and actresses were great, especially the one who portrayed Anne Frank. They really got all interesting events that makes it entertaining to all ages! I recommend this to all ages, most especially to those who love history. I'll give this a 7 out of 10
The Mighty (1998)
READ THE BOOK, WATCH THE MOVIE-THEY ARE BOTH ENTERTAINING!
I read the book for English class and I got so hooked on it, I finished the book ahead of the others! When we watched parts of the movie, I thought it was really cool so I rented it and I LOVED it! It is a good movie and it sticks to the book, even though there are some parts that differ... but its still cool! The actors who played Freak and Max were stunning, and all the scenes are beautiful. I would give this a 9 out of 10, since nothing is perfect(!).
Zoom (1997)
I think it was supposed to be nice
Okay, so I probably enjoyed watching the first season, because it was quite entertaining, but the other seasons were HORRIBLE! I mean, they should keep Pablo and the gang regardless of their age because the gang knew how it is to entertain people. So, out of 10 stars for all 3 seasons, I'll give this a 3. It was supposed to be a 9 because of the first season, but the others pulled it, so there!
