i really felt that this movie caught a certain type of emotion. i'm still not sure what it is. the music basically told the story itself, it was beautiful and perfect. and i love zach braff and natalie portman. this movie just made a lot of sense. go see it! If you're in the mood for a tear-jerker, I have the perfect movie...Dei gau tin cheung. The fact that this movie is actually based on a true story, makes it even more beautiful. I was very surprised by the strength of this film. I CRIED THROUGH THE ENTIRE THING. It was absolutely breathe-taking and touching. I was very impressed with the acting, especially Sylvia Chang and Chris Lee. Josie Ho was quite convincing, although her Chinese was sketchy. Overall, I feel this movie is one of the best Chinese movies I've ever seen. The cinematography was also terrific! I appreciate the delicacy and the poignancy of every scene. I have now been inspired to do something with my life - perhaps, develop an HIV vaccine? maybe..........

omg, i don't even have the words to say how great this movie was! i'm not even a kid and i seriously loved it!!!!!!!! it is probably the best disney animated film since the lion king. okay, i'm going overboard, but it was great. ah!!!!!! the turtles!!!!!and dory, how cute! i was a bit suprised in the very beginning that this was a kids movie (think bambi's mom) but the movie was totally worth the $7.50 i spent on the ticket. one final comment: the people picked to do the voices were perfect!

i must admit i really liked this show. the martial arts are not realistic but i found the characters easy to follow. the story seems pretty cheesy, and it is a "no-brainer" type of show, but tell me what other WB show isn't? basically, it's just a feel good hour of television and it sure beats watching bad reality television.

After being sorely dissapointed with "Anger Management", I lost all hope for the movies....until I went and saw "Bend It Like Bekham". It was so refreshing and the culture jokes were great! I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this moving: the slutty Indian girls, the gay best friend, the hottie coach, and the smart integration of traditional music. My only complaint, the extremely "kid's movie" plot. But the execution was phenomenal! a round of applause for "Bend it like Bekhem"!

okay, for starters this movie was amazing, period. I was absolutely blown away by the amazing special effects (come on, even if you're a critic of this film you have to admit gollum was remarkable)and the strong acting (andy serkis, viggo mortensen, ian mckellen, orlando bloom, elijah wood, john ryes-davis...all were terrific). cinematography was great, but then again it was shot in new zealand. The music was nice too. I hope howard shore gets another oscar nomination. I think peter jackson did a wonderful job of directing, and all you people who disagree are only jealous. but I have to admit it was dissapointing to see helm's deep take up so much time considering it was only one chapter in the book. I also feel that liv tyler's part in this film was unnecessary. But all in all this film is the best film I've seen all year (road to perdition comes in close though). I can't wait to see the ROTK. (Hopefully it will be more true to the books)
