Cinema of Journal
20 March 2022
It's a funny adventure of mixed mediums. A fictional old magazine turned into a movie. Story of the magazine while being the magazine. Who cannot see the connection of it, and irony of it missed the whole thing anyway. Its an ode to golden age of publications and captures the spirit beautifully. Its not for the new generation for sure, they missed all the golden ones. Little bits of moments given to a magnificent cast radiates with brilliance, while Anderson's picture becomes one of his masterpiece.

Cliche
30 July 2020
An over used, over acted, mindless; sex, violence, drama loop. Nothing to do with book at all. It's filled with empty ideas, cliches and concepts randomly taken from other sci-fci, dystopias. 90% of it set in a single set with a few identical rooms, gets boring so fast. Kudos to costume design though, rest is pathetic.

Most comedy these days feel old. Same old same old comic tricks. Hannah manages to find something new and shape it in to a remarkable new comedy form. Her trick is making sense...
