good feelin' 90s
25 April 2013
Let me start with this: It was like a good feelin '90's movie for me. I claim and believe they created the naive 90's soul searching youngsters in 20 somethings theme in a way. Above all, the sub stories caught me: Anna and 'the high school ''crushed'' still living with it Tpaper guys' and they have 'the glow', also the black wannabee with nice moves sub story works. The story is overall good. I thought it was going to be the American crazy reunion party with lotta booze, lies and nothing, which proved me wrong. Still, acting usually was not the best for me. What was that! Have some souls! I liked the movie but, please, we don't know the characters. It was directing, mostly on characters that gave you kinda C+.

By the way, writing a song to the girl you... cheesy, you got it so I loved it.

this is for Malloy
2 July 2009
As well, Tom Malloy is the best thing in this movie. I am giving an entrance with references which you must know, yeah, regular chick flick movie- feel-good movie plus dancing which is my favorite, musical-chick flick. I appreciate but I can't say it is hilarious; Strictly Ballroom- Buz made it in 90's with a great success. "Brave new steps put Scott's career in jeopardy. With a new partner and determination, can he still succeed?" That is why we love "The Cutting Edge", buddy. Mr Malloy stole my heart! Amy Smart, you are still my "Butterfly Effect":) I warn you that I may be one of those critics but still full of emotions!; it reminded me that honesty. I'm looking forward for your next movies Malloy, surprise me!

back to the 80s scary movie style
12 March 2009
yeah, well we begin. I will start with the introduction for asking if any of you ever watched a b horror movie from the eighties, yes you will adore this one because the movie gives all the clichés and serious acting applies for another star for the movie, except "Larry Joe Campbell" from "According to Jim". He is really enjoying for filming a b type thriller movie(I love him). Our another star is for "Lola Glaudini" from "Groove". I am so glad to see her again. She is so into the movie.(I know they are having so much fun) Gossip Girl star, Leighton Meester, she is really shocking for me such as being in this kind of a movie and I think she is a secret gem like Ed Westwick(it was an compliment). I am a fan of the b movies, especially 80s. I say if you know the bad movie history of eighties and if you have a couple of friends in same taste, you can have so much fun. this is one of the good ones in its following the 'let's appreciate and respect the genre of thrillers in 80s. My top is, yeah, comedy and horror, I say Evil Dead, which is more fun and Braindead which is more drama. I'm giving you ten because I'll be watching you. Warning! Not Stable.

modern times
25 October 2008
Warning: Spoilers
it's a modern fairy tale, in fact. but not with the every time ending. on Christmas eve. boy meets girl.things happen. unfortunately, it is the wrong time for both sides. the movie is about loneliness and modern young man-young woman relationship problems which is scened in background by the contribution of melancholic vocal songs, with city-lights, or on subway or on the road by the symbolization of a lost one shoe... indie movies are rising back again, I guess. if you liked before sunrise or before sunset, mostly before sunrise, this is the one more realistic. recommended. especially Sarah Simmonds and Scott MCnary does a great job. great movie on relationships. look at for songs shear water, also recommended.
