As a HUGE fan of nightwish i was so excited to get this for my 16th birthday and i must say i was not disappointed. This is an amazing DVD and well worth watching. it has all of nightwish best and biggest song and Ghost love score is a pleasure to watch, with outstanding pyrotechincs and other special effects it is just amazing. The sound quality is really good and can almost hear what Tarja is singing and although what they speak is Finnish it doesn't really matter. Tarja, Tuomas, Emppu, jukka and Marco are all playing their best and singing their best. one of the best concert DVD i have ever seen. some the only problem i think is when Tarja sings Over the hills and Faraway its sounds really weird and not right but then i later found out its because she had a cold. But otherwise and really good DVD.

This film is brilliant, a must see for Goth's and vampire lovers alike. Stuart Townsend is brilliant as lestat but not as good as Tom cruise who lpayed it effortlessly but Stuart plays it with a bit more charm and grace .
if you have read the book before the film then your bound to be a bit confused, but then you realise its a cross between the books Queen of the Damned and The Vampire Lestat. i think this film is a credit for the untimely death of Aaliyah who , if not for the tragic plane crash, I'm sure would have had an amazing career. This film has brilliant camera shots, the overhead tracking shot of lestats concert, is possibly the best camera shot in the whole film. The stunning visual effects are amazing, and just in general the Mise-en-scene is brilliant.
all in all a wounderful film that wants you wanting more.

i watched this in my As level media studies class and thought its was crap. Although there has been many remakes of this film the original is the best as far as I'm concerned.
This film has been made more scarier and more horrific to fit in with the types of films that are being made now. it has far to many shocks and to many new things and who else think that the characters look like GAP models?????????? the main woman has been made to appeal to men. and again who else thinks that Leatherface looks like lord Volemort without the mask? what i do like about this film is the shots of leather-faces 'abode'. he tracking shots of his room were you see all manners of his torture devices, and the close up's of them.
All in all i think this is awful, what the sheriff did to that poor dead girl was disgusting and made me and my friend feel physically sick. The original is the best and if you love the original do not watch this film!!!!!!!!!
