John Payne's back brace

I met John Payne one time and he wore a back brace in public and in his later movies. I think he said it was in the fight scenes at the beginning of this movie where he injured his spine.

Alice was a big girl

It seemed that Alice's chest was larger than in any of her other movies at Fox. She must have been taped down in the other pictures, for what reason, I have no idea. I think this was the real Alice.

There were really a lot of planes in the air

I have never seen CGI scenes of an air battle that looked like a swarm of wasps. There were so many planes in the air...and no stoplights! If that had been filmed in real time there would have been crashes going on everywhere. I think that those were the most unrealistic amateurly done CGI battle scenes in any movie ever. And the acting and the script were really bad. The producer must have had something on Bruce Willis to make him be in that movie. He is smarter than that. They probably said they would give Rumor a part if he would be in their movie. Maybe we could file a class-action suite to get compensation for our pain and suffering while seeing this.

I thought I saw Bob Hope

See if you think this soldier looked like a young Bob Hope. He looks just like him to me. He is in one scene in the part about the Germans and Brits socializing after the war ended. There are two Germans and five Brits. Look at the man on the right smoking a big Calabash pipe like Sherlock Holmes smoked. Maybe it was Bob's first USO tour. However it was not him. The dates don't match. He would have been 15 and he was in England doing other stuff, like dance lessons. The scene comes shortly after two scenes of Brits swapping their hats with German soldiers.
