Wakanda Forever - Very appropriately named
6 February 2023
This movie had a variety of very memorable scenes and could have been a legitimately great movie if it was edited appropriately. It should have been no longer than 100 minutes or so and dragged at several points during the first 2/3 of the movie. The last hour was truly outstanding and almost made the first hour and forty minutes worth wading through.

Angela Bassett was at her best, as usual. The raw and believable emotion that she brings to the table is legendary. Letitia Wright lives up to her reputation as a rising talent in the lead role. Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong'o were both excellent in supporting roles.

In conclusion, worth checking out as long as you don't go in with inflated expectations.

A sobering dose of reality
13 March 2022
I noticed a disturbing number of 1 star reviews complaining that they felt the movie was too woke or liberal. This review is intended to counterbalance that absurd line of logic and overall ignorance.

The movie was middle of the road by Disney standards, but pretty good overall. Not for really young kids, hence the PG rating.

I Think I Have A New Favorite Christmas Movie
1 December 2021
It told an awesome Xmas story while continuing some crucial storylines from the season 2 finale. The songs were extremely relevant to the mood being conveyed at the time and Alex Newell may be the best pure singer on earth at this moment.

We NEED a 3rd season, Roku!!!

The uncensored dialogue makes a huge difference
9 May 2021
It is exactly what you would expect it to be. For me and my wife, it is absolutely crack. Pillow Talk right after the show is also a great time.

*SPOILERS*. Underrated As It Gets
4 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Add 2-3 stars if Pretty Hate Machine was one of your favorite albums of all time and you ever identified as a punk/industrial music fanatic. A bit lighter-hearted than the average BM episode at times, but the technology aspect was amazing and Miley stole the show with her overall performance. Fairly predictable at times, but as long as you don't watch with a preset mind, you will definitely get a kick out of it.

A bit campy, for better or worse
8 June 2019
The hosts have decent enough chemistry, but most of their material is incredibly corny. The random crowd shots take you out of the moment, but the acts are definitely top notch so far. Good time killer, but I can't imagine that this is going to catch on all that much. Been there, done that.

Top 5 Reasons To See This Movie
24 December 2014
1) The only Kim in the world more repulsive than Kardashian DOES NOT want you to see this movie.

2) Movie theater popcorn is absolutely delicious. Eating it while watching this movie will make your fingernails taste like popcorn.

3) Red Bull claims to give you wings.... but this movie will enable you to fly, regardless of your caffeine intake.

4) Watching this movie will be another step in protecting freedom of speech in America, while smashing censorship.

5) This is an excellent opportunity to get the privilege of full release from a moist trans-gender primordial dwarf who may or may not be a hermaphrodite named Herman.

One Of The Best Sports Movies I Have Ever Seen
14 September 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I am happy not to be a jaded critic who picks apart every aspect of a movie... just a fan who suspends disbelief, goes with the story and appreciates a happy ending. I have been a huge baseball fan all my life, this movie honestly portrays the best choreographed game I have seen on the silver screen. The chemistry between Costner and Preston is remarkable, she outshone him considerably... but he more than held his own. If you watch the movie with a mentality to look for the flaws, you will definitely find them... but if you choose to truly experience it through the main character's eyes... you will be laughing, crying and applauding when it is all said and done. This ranks right up there with The Natural, A League Of Their Own, Major League, Bull Durham and Field Of Dreams as must see movies for people who truly love the game of baseball.

My Favorite Episode Of Any Animated Series Ever
20 March 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Although I enjoy South Park, Simpsons, Drawn Together, Family Guy and American Dad more in general than Futurama... this one episode is possibly my favorite half hour of animated television of all time. Even if you have never owned a pet, if you don't cry at the end... see a doctor to get your tear ducts checked. The way they built the relationship between Fry and his dog gradually was moving and surprisingly realistic. The change of heart Bender shows towards the dog after he realizes just how much Fry loved it was inspirational. Does the fact that seeing the women wrestle in spandex turned me on more than a little bit make me disturbed? Even if you hate the show, watch this episode ASAP!!!
