Lost: Happily Ever After (2010)
I felt it too...
At this moment, this is one of the best episodes of the entire series, at least for me. Best flash-sideways by a long distance, except this time the flash-sideways connects with the island story, and that was what made the episode so beautiful. Every meeting Desmond had was great, especially with Daniel and Charlie. Henry Ian Cusick did an awesome performance, especially on the emotional level. There wasn't much island story, but I didn't miss it at all. Only hope the rest of the series can maintain this level of acting.
Favourite scene - Desmond smiling when he finally sees Penny Favourite acting - Desmond and Charlie
***** out of 5*
Lost: Recon (2010)
"Trust me, God's got nothing to do with it"
Season 6 finally seems to be getting on the right track, after the first 3 episodes disappointed me a little. Since "The Lighthouse" Lost has been at it's best, and while "Recon" isn't as good as "Dr.Linus" (for me the best episode of the season so far, thanks to that Jack and Richard scene on the Black Rock), it was still a great episode to watch, since we had very interesting flash-sideways and very intense island arc. Josh Holloway was at his best yet again, and is starting to threaten Terry O'Quinn, Matthew Fox, Michael Emerson and Henry Ian Cusick for the title of best actor in this series.
About the episode itself, there were things that left us with a smile on our faces, such as the opening scene, very similar to the scene where Sawyer met Cassidy, this time with a different end, or the appearance of Charlotte. Also nice to see the "old" Sawyerm lying to everyone to serve his own purposes, just as he did in "The Long Con".
Of course some things I didn't understand or didn't liked, such as the fact that after all the trouble to get Ben Linus, Widmore finally comes back to the island and seems to have forgotten about Ben, or seeing Sayid seemingly stoned or don't seeing Juliet appearing in the flash-sideways..
But still, one good episode, maybe the third best of the season, only surpassed by "Dr. Linus" and "Sundown"
Heroes: Chapter Three 'Building 26' (2009)
Sylar's becoming even more bad-ass =D
This episode, while it is miles behind the episodes from season one, still satisfy us because of one character: Sylar. This new objective he has and the person he is showing to be are just great and he alone makes me wanna continue watching heroes. By the way, the scene where Sylar takes off his mask and then carries Luke on his shoulders is just amazing.
One other thing that is getting interesting is finding out who is the mysterious "Rebel". Seems he knows the targets, so i'm betting on an insider. Before this episode my bet was on Noah Bennet, but now I just don't have a clue. Nonetheless, if I had to choose someone now I would say Angella Petrelli.
Now, speaking of next week, I'm curious to know what will Matt, Peter and Suresh do with Noah. Will they retrieve informations? Will they just get some measure of revenge? Or will they try to use him to trade him for Tracy? Also I want to see less of Hiro, Ando and Claire and more of Peter, Matt and, of course, Sylar.
