Fun for some
13 February 2014
If you are clever or a gamer, maybe you have an advanced topical sense of humor, if so watch this movie and enjoy. If you are equipped for it this movie is a lot of fun. Definitely worth watching, so pop some corn grab a drink and tuck in.

For those who lack wit, you should probably avoid watching this movie. You will be disappointed because the funny parts will go over your head. Additionally the campy parts are the sort that only thoughtful people find interesting, witty or cheesy in the right or better yet "wrong" way.

Long and short of it is this movie is not for everyone. This movie requires the viewer to bring a thoughtful and informed mind. Unfortunately not everyone has one of those, as a result not everyone will be able to enjoy this movie equally.

A perfect life is a bitter sweet story of love, addiction, betrayal and tragedy.

A perfect life is a bitter sweet story of love, addiction, betrayal and tragedy. Brian Sanders is a shiftless drunk who through apathy or more simply, a lack of appreciation, destroyed the perfect life he had. A theme many can identify with and most have lived to one extent or another. The story also touches on the deeper meaning of love and what it means to love someone who does not love you back. The film is beautifully shot despite its indie "low budget". The in lens or "in camera" work really helps to deliver the story and capture the emotion from the performances. My only criticism, is that, from time to time the writing is a bit self indulgent and overly florid. That said this movie is well worth a watch, I would go as far as to say its a surprise sleeper. A perfect life is not a perfect film but it is a damn good one.
