Wonka (2023)
This was not anywhere near what it should have been.
Willy Wonka almost seemed like a side character in his own movie. Instead of being about Wonka and the Oompa Loompa (played very well by Hugh Grant) it's more about an orphan girl called Noodle. God forbid you could make a movie about a white man doing something positive on his own merit. Imagine how fun the movie could have been with the Oompa Loompa and Wonka making the beginnings of the chocolate factory from the ground up, traveling the world and getting to know lots of interesting sub characters from around the world (then at least the forced inclusivity would have made sense.) Instead the whole movie is centred around a little area where the rival chocolate makers shops are located, they are boring forgettable characters as are 90 percent of the characters in the movie. You're not going to find people 30 years from now still using the names like you would with a Veruca Salt to describe someone's behaviour. In fact I genuinely doubt people will still be talking about this in a few months time, like most recent Hollywood drivel it's another forgetful movie from the meat grinder.
The movie is bizarre most of the time, with ridiculous out of this world magic tricks happening that make no sense. Timotheé Chalamet seemed to be doing his best Jim Carrey impression as well. They could have made this movie and called it something else, you really don't have to tarnish the name of such an iconic character. I really wish I hadn't given this movie the time of day as it wasn't worth it.
Rage (1995)
There will be RAGE
You'd really love RAGE. The plot is outRAGEeous and not aveRAGE, its full of tRAGEdy, there's a barRAGE of enRAGEd baddies. So I encouRAGE you to buy it, if you don't have stoRAGE you can rent a gaRAGE. Watch it with a beveRAGE, and your entouRAGE, but no one undeRAGE or there will be... RAGE.
Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
It's so terrible, that Starwars Christmas special was better.
I watched all 6 episodes, and I regret it deeply. The acting is atrocious, to the point where I had to laugh more than a few times. The plot is ridiculous, to be fair Obi-Wan seems like a secondary character. I'm sick of Disney taking a giant dump on Starwars fans just so they can get their agenda across. Awful show, I gave it two stars as it made me laugh and that's got to be worth one extra star at least. The sooner they can move onto telling good stories with endearing characters that you actually care about, the better.
The Boys: The Last Time to Look on This World of Lies (2022)
And so the propaganda goes full leftist.
This was an awful episode, laced with constant political innuendos. It's getting ridiculous how these shows consistently reel you in only to turn into a playground for these far left fantasies. Also Seth Rogen? Yuk.
Danger Force (2020)
No where near as good as it's predecessor.
The jokes mostly fall flat, the characters aren't likeable at all. They really couldn't have made this any worse if they tried. But this seems to be the way of modern kids shows.
Henry Danger (2014)
Very entertaining show for kids and teenagers
The amount of one star reviews for this are ridiculous. Sadly having a predominantly white cast seems to be frowned upon by the users or IMDb. For a more accurate perception of what normal people think, check the Google tumbs up ratio. It's currently at 92 percent thumbs up so that tells you all you need to know.
Karaoke Challenge (2000)
I would do almost anything to have this on air again
Karaoke challenge was hands down the funniest TV show I'd seen in years. They would go to different seaside towns, and locals would compete Infront of the worst line up of celebrities they could muster up. The singing was awful, the contestants were usually drunk or complete oddballs. It was so bad that it was actually perfection.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
If you've given up on the franchise please give this a go
I must admit I had trepidations about watching this movie after the disgraceful job that was done with the last "reboot." I was really blown away by how well made Ghostbusters: Afterlife, was. Excellently casted with loveable characters throughout. I laughed, I jumped and I cried. Nothing felt forced or pushed down your throat, it was just an excellent family movie. Well done to everyone involved, it was fantastic.
Ghostbusters (2016)
How did this achieve a 6.9?
This movie is awful in every single way. They should've left the franchise alone as this was so poorly executed it seemed written by a 12 year old. Avoid at all costs.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses (2021)
If you love Harry Potter, do not watch this.
To say this was excruciatingly bad, would be an understatement. This is quite possibly the most ridiculous show I've ever seen. It was as if they made a show for 5 year olds and used adults as contestants. Awful, awful show. Stay away Potter fans.
Wrath of Man (2021)
Enjoyable movie
This wasn't amazing, but it's a good solid action flick. It seems to be getting a lot of one stars because people are saying it's homophobic? The poor gentle souls can't handle seeing a macho character nowadays, it really offends them, unless they're any colour but white of course.
Fear Street: 1666 (2021)
Worst of the trilogy. Not even worth calling a horror movie.
This got more ridiculous as it went along. The romance was pure overkill to the point where I'd have been happy for them both to be killed. For a "horror" movie, there wasn't any scary parts or moments to make you jump, or even play with your mind. What a cliche boring ending as well, just leaving a satanic book lying around. Please don't bother making any more, these were bad enough as it is.
Shotgun (1989)
Trash genre spectacular.
If you're into movies so bad they're marvelous, then this is right up your street. The star is one of the worst actors I've ever seen and had me in stitches throughout, his deliveries are up there with Cameron Mitchell, specially the bar scene. The random electric guitar riffs that get thrown around for the slightest thing are terrific. The song that goes with the move is also pure sex. Honestly I would happily watch Shotgun on repeat and still find something new to laugh at. If you enjoyed movies like Samurai Cop, The Stabilizer and Terror in Beverly hills, then this is the movie for you.
No Time to Die (2021)
So disappointed
There are a few things in life you can be sure of, and James Bond surviving is one of them. There was literally no need whatsoever to kill him off. I seriously hope this is the last of the modern era of Bond movies, as Ian Fleming would be turning in his grave it he'd seen what become of his creation.
The Many Saints of Newark (2021)
Insulting to use the show's good name to push more racial narratives.
If you're a fan of The Sopranos, then steer clear of this boring trash. It really was just awful to sit through. This is just another Hollywood racial tension movie. Getting quite sick of the black Vs white narrative they seem to love pushing out there. If you're gonna make a movie about the Sopranos then why base a large chunk of the movie on a black guy, no fan of the show gives a crap about. Ridiculous.
Action U.S.A. (1989)
Best bad movie of all time
I don't even know where to start with this. I've never seen time fly by so fast, it literally is action scene after after action scene. If you're a fan of Samurai Cop or any Arizal movies, or just insane stunts and amazingly awful dialogue, this is the movie for you.
Extraction (2020)
Fun action movie with a simple plot.
So many salty people reviewed this movie. Notice how the low scores all come from the same area of the world, (cough cough india.) This movie had great action and a simple plot, I enjoyed Hemsworths performance and the action scenes alone were worth the watch.
Parole Violators (1994)
One of the best bad movies of all time. Don't ever associate me with a bird. Birds are weak, I don't like birds.
This movie's a masterpiece of crap. I don't think I've witnessed so much action in one movie, it literally goes from one action scene into another.
The female lead is wooden beyond belief, I really can't explain how special her acting is.
The bad guy pedophile is supposed to be Mexican but looks more Asian, and his sidekick who also is supposed to be Mexican is clearly white.
The lead guy gets kicked in the head about 50 times and generally gets beaten up throughout the movie, yet continues on like nothing happened. The ending was really a thing of brauty, health and safety had nothing to do with the making of this .
There are countless one liners, funny scene's and continuity errors to look out for. It's as if the makers worked in a karate school and invited their students to be in a movie. I loved watching this and have done 3 times, it's one of the best bad films of all time. If you like ninja terminator, samurai cop or killing American style; this is the movie for you.
Cobra Kai (2018)
This is a shining light in a snowflake society.
When i first heard about this show being made i wasn't overly optimistic but after watching the trailer i decided to give it a go. I grew up as child in the 80s and Karate Kid was one of my favourite movies so i was torn with watching it and it being terrible and tarnishing my memory but Cobra Kai is far better than i had ever hoped for. The characters are extremely likeable and the jokes pull no punches (no pun intended). Johnny is the best antihero i can remember, you cant help but root for the guy. The dialogue is well written and near the knuckle, i find myself punching the air far more than a man of my age should. Congratulations to everyone involved in the show, its a must see for any fan of the franchise.
