Save the time read the plot
Plot:

"Okay, sure"
Run run run, coming to earlier enymies line. No ones left.
Run run run, reaching an abandoned house, watching two English planes fighting a german plane at the sky. German plane goes down, 10 cm next to the soldiers. They rescue the german pilot from fire then the german soldier kills soldier nr 1 with a knife.
Soldier nr 2 gets a pick up by other soldiers who are suddenly there too. They drive him until they reach a brigde they cant pass with their cars. Soldier 2 continues to walk and as he steps out the vehicle he gets under attack from a single shooter. He kills the shooter.
Run Run Run. Soldier comes to a destroyed town, flirts with a french woman. Talks to her child, leaves them. Runs again, and walks into a german Justin Biber. Kills him too and runs from other nearby germans. He jumps into a river. Some meters later he manages to get out the water and walks into a group of English soldiers who are listening to a singer. He looks for Coronel Mckanzie but Mckanzie is not there. He runs again because Coronel Mckanzie is some meters away at front line. He finds him, tells him to stop the attack because it is a trap. Sherlock aka Mckanzie won´t listen to him till he reads the letter Soldier 2 has brought with him. Attack stopped.
Then he looks for the brother of recently died soldier 1. Tells him that soldier 1 is dead. Brother is sad and says: "thank you anyway"
Soldier 2 chills at a tree. The End.
For god sake.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
What went wrong with Game of Thrones:
First of all: Do you remember last episode when Jon was not riding the dragon to Kings Landing? They told us that the dragon was still injured or not totally fit and therefore Jon didn´t fly it. This is the perfect example of what went wrong with Game of Thrones. You as a viewer get fooled by the writers because they had no really good idea how to explain that Jon would not ride the dragon again. But they couldn´t let Jon ride that dragon because of their written plot: Dragon will die, Jon can´t be on it. Simple as that. So they made an excuse for Jon not being on the dragon. Problem solved. If this happens once. No one really cares about it. But if this keeps going and going...
When I started watching Game of Thrones some years ago, there was a different way of story telling. There were a lot of great characters who had good reasons for their actions and behavior. These characters and their decisions were elemantary to the show because they were driving the plot forward. It always felt like everything could happen in Game of Thrones because every character is an individum. And every character could lead the show and the plot into another direction with any action. It was always about the characters who decided (from their perspective) what was going to happen next. With D&D writing Game of Thrones all that suddenly changed. They had a special plot in their mind and they forced it all the way through. And suddenly characters and their motives didn´t make sense anymore.
Let´s take Jamie for example. What a great charakter he was. Build up from the very first season to show his biggest motive. His love to his sister. Even he loved his sister and was fallen for her, he was kind of a nice guy. He had conscience and he reflected himself. He tried to learn from mistakes and handle things better next time. From all the sudden his charakter didn´t make sense anymore. He decided to fight for the North and leave Cersille behind. That was already not very logical even if she wanted him to leave. Next thing he does is being one armed super hero in the war against the Death. They win the war and he gets the big blond woman laid down. They built up a tension between these two for seasons long. And when she revealed that she is still a virgin!!!! First thing he does is to follow her into her room, f..... her just to leave her next day, by saying the he still loves his sister. That sounds more like a Tinder story than acutally Game of Thrones. There is no actual way to destroy a character like Jaimie more than they did. Only because they didn´t know what to to with him anymore and he could not really add anything to the plot except dying with Cersille in the end. That was all they needed him for.
People complaining about Tyrien and the monk becoming stupid all the sudden. You know why this is? Because they didn´t move the plot forward anymore with their smart decision making. They had no influence in it anymore. When earlier they were actually MAKING the plot with good ideas (speaking from their perspective) now the plot was already written and they were fitted into it. It´s difficult if not improbable to be smart if you have no choice for you as a character and you are just a very limited tool in a very tiny box.
Euron was a very badly written character as well. He was just there to kill a dragon. They had no use for him after he killed one dragon, so what did they do? They gave him some more screentime and let him die stupidly. Why would he want to kill Jaime? Why did he stranded alone where Jamie was walking? All because of the written plot. He had nothing to add and he needed to die. Originally they seemed to have the idea to make that Euron/Cersille/Jaime thing a bit more complex with the baby coming and Cercille lying about who was the father. But in the end. It didnt fit into the plot anymore so they just left it out.
The Sandor/Gregor fight was particulary exciting, but if you use your brain and just think about it a second...Why would Gregor abbandon his queen for a fight with his brother? It was always Sandor who wanted revenge. Gregor was always portrayed as someone who only lives to protect his queen. Even with his own life if needed. What he literally did before that fighting scene when all the stones went down on them. But all of the sudden he prefers a Street Figher 1vs1 against his revenge seeking brother and gives a s... about the queen. And why would Sandor leave Cersille just walk away right next to him. It would have taken him half of a second to kill his friends (Arya) worst enemy and his hated brothers most important person. This just made no sense. But it the end it didn´t matter anyway because they both were not needed for further plot. So they got some more spectacular last screentime only to die some seconds later.
But the worst part of all is Jon. His role is, because of written plot, to kill Danny in the end. You could see how they are trying to move us into this direction. That scene when Danny asked Jon if she is just his queen and starts to kiss him. This should be seen as the point when Danny decides to go bezerk. But why didn´t Jon kiss her back all the sudden? Why didn´t he tell Danny that she is not just his queen but that he although loves her very much? What suddenly happened that he doesn´t feel this way anymore? Right, plot. They needed to go Danny bezerk, so she has to have a motive. Not feeling any love anymore. So Jon doesn´t show her what she needed. Love. That is totally out of line to what happened before. Out of line to what Jon would acutally do as a person. Hug her, tell her that he loves her and trying to calm her down.
Don´t force character into a plot you already wrote. Let the characters decide from their perspective what will happen next. That is what was Game of Thrones about. And that is what the last two seasons should have been. I´m pretty sure most of people would not complain so much if the writers would have sticked to that rule.
Free Solo (2018)
Could have been so much better
I really enjoyed the first part of the movie. But after a while I became nervous, because the movie was moving on and on but he still hadn't start climbing. Exactly 20 minutes before the movie was over, he finally began to climb. The whole climbing scene took only 10-15 minutes. That's just way to short. I have no idea what the producers were thinking. But you can't make a movie or documentary or whatever about one of the greatest achievements in climbing, maybe even sport history and give his girlfriend more sceentime than the climb itself.
Impulse (2018)
Stunnig, exciting and clever
This is a TV Show through nearly all genres. It´s really smart. You never know whats going to happen next, but what is going to happen makes a lot of sense at all. The characters are great and loveable. This show is not about black or white, yes or no, right or wrong. It´s about perspectives and how they change things in our life. Really Great!
Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall (2017)
I enjoyed it, but it was strange...
When I saw this episode first I thought it was great. But after watching it again I must say there are indeed some points that doesn't fit at all.
It was a strange mission for a strange reason. To convince Cersey to fight a war against the night king. Why would Jon risk his life for that? Not even likely Cersey would agree if she sees the undead. Not even likely that she might be a big help at all (Hasnt she and her army just lost a huge fight?) All for the reason that Daenerys cannot fight two wars at the same time. All she has to do is to take her three dragons, fly to Kings Landing and burn the place down, Cersey lives in. Should be possible in like 20 minutes. At least in Game of Thrones time. Then she flys to the Night King with her three dragons. Flys over the big army first time to spot the Night King. Then second time she burns him into ashes with three dragons. Kindom saved. Check.
Many people here say, that it was a plan by the night king to get the dragons there. Because he needed the dragons. After rewatching that episode one can surely say that this was not the intention of the writers. The army attacked Jon and his group after the hound threw a rock on that ice. Then they realized and attacked them and tried to kill them. Lets say Daenerys would have come 10 minutes later...Nothing would have been left from Jon and his group. She would not even landed with her dragons and the night King couldn't easily kill one dragon. Anyway the night king didn't look really prepared for his mission to kill a dragon. It was more like a.."Give me that icy spear and I show that stupid dragon something.." IF it was something like a plan..Why didn't he hand out more of that spears to his generals..I mean there were three possible dragons to turn. It just doesn't fit.
Many people here although say, that they find it stupid that the night King didn't attack Drogon who was sitting on the ground and being a much easier target. I guess it was because the dragon who was hit, was flying. And when they fly they can be hit from bottom into their stomach, where their weak side is. Although that killed dragon was just firing. Maybe that was the reason it was a deadly hit. It looked like he burned from inside and all that fire he was breathing out..was inside his whole body. Made sense, at least for me.
A big lack for me is the speed of the show. They suddenly started to rush. I don't know why but they did. The more time will pass the more people will realize this. And it will be a big minus.
I think it was a great episode with a lot of plot wholes in it. The more you start thinking about them the more you find it annoying. Just try not to think about it. Though it becomes harder and harder.
The Walking Dead: The First Day of the Rest of Your Life (2017)
Why oh why?
Dear producers of "The Walking Dead" After having seen the final epidose of season 7 I feel really sad. It feels like you took something from me. Not only a great TV Show I loved. Although the hope, that you are different then all the others. For a long time I just trusted you. I just closed my eyes every time I saw your show. I closed it and felt in an one hour lasting amazing dream where anything was possible and great things happening. Today you woke me up. The Walking Dead is just another TV Show. Just like thousands of others. You messed up!
Funny Games (2007)
And it started so hopeful....
Lets see. Two guys coming into your house, kick your sons and husbands ass. they send you in the kitchen and you come back without anything? Oh no u didn't you bring the one guy a water.
And the husband..what a senseless character. did he tried anything? did he tried to get himself a weapon? he just sitting there and whining, while his family life is at stake. but in the end, he can nearly walk, at least he leans to wall. the guys so often didn't look their backs, they where so often alone, Fe when the smarter guys searching for the boy. it would be a guy with a broken leg and a women, against one armed guy. everyone would at least try something. even if hes having a golf record in his hands.
best thing is the end. did they really do this? the mother was like..ah aha i am too dumb to stand up. then i hang around a little and then running out on street and stopping first car I see. father could suddenly walk and chilled a lit too. then he decided to repair the watered mobile. clever.. after some minutes chilling in the house the two guys came back with his wife they must have catched. but daddy didn't even take a second to think about arming himself.
this movie is so far from reality and in the end i thought they really deserved to die..except that boy, he wasn't that dumb. not dumb as his parents. must be adopted. but thats another story..hopefully not from Michael haneke.
maybe Michael haneke is uwe boll.possible.
don't watch this movie if you like smart entertainment
