If you love crappy lifetime movies...
If horrible lifetime movies are a go-to on a sick day, please don't miss this one! It is standard lifetime crap, but very entertaining nonetheless. If you watch this with others you will get a great peanut gallery going--there are just too many things to laugh about. The dialogue is corny, the plot is unrealistic (I mean really, who would kill someone for chucking a rock at them?), and the acting is pretty over the top. Despite all of this, you will find yourself laughing at the ridiculousness that seeps out of every scene.
What I love most about this movie is Fallyn--the girl looks EXACTLY like Val from "Brink". It is hard to take her seriously when all you can think about is her skating for "x-blades" and getting a milkshake thrown in her face.
Alive! Is Michael Jackson Really Dead? (2011)
Too bad for Mystery Science Theater
Pearl J has made "documentary" gold. This is the most misinformed, ridiculous, and hilarious movie that I've ever seen. Pearl J actually uses the National Enquirer and World News as her most credible sources. Not only that, but according to her it is certain that Michael Jackson's middle name is "Joe". Why? Well through extensive research she found that the actress in the TV series "The Jacksons" names Michael "Michael Joe Jackson". Yup, that must be proof! She also states (with conviction) that she "went to the second biggest law library in California and asked the librarian (who has worked there for 22 years) if it was illegal to fake your own death". She of course gets the wrong answer, but for some reason thinks it's correct since the librarian has clearly studied law.
This movie is worth watching (it's free on netflix) if you are in need of a good laugh, but don't waste any money on it. The reviews for it on amazon are a mix of ones and fives--all of the fives have clearly been written by her/her friends.
