The best episode of 2nd season!!
18 August 2023
Love the fact that Charotte got her life and job back. She was the overachiever lady in the original show and that made the sex and the city funny!!!

The writers address the LGBTQA+ issue about the pronunciation and size perfectly. When Che's makes everyone call her by "they," I am a part of this LGBTQA community and still feel the pronouce being a bit too much. For Anthony's issue, the size matter in gay community. Gay man has a preference on being top or bottom. Not every gay can be fluid in bed like the stereotype!!!

Last and not least, Miranda gets a taste of her over-the-top behavior. She has been annoying for the past two seasons. Finally, we gotta see how everyone has been trying to tell her!!!

the parallel world where white people get beaten by the Asian nature disaster, but only white people were injured.

This film is another example of great acting trumped by white washed theme. As a Thai person who grew up during the incident, I had to deduct points for the strange story. I hate to say that production design, editing, and script were all really bad. It was like the parallel world where white people get beaten by the Asian nature disaster, but only white people were injured.

1.) The visuals of the town during that time were incorrect.

While it is true that foreigners were strained, injured, or died during this incident, Maria was separated from her husband for only two days. It was during the time which she was badly injured and stayed in the hospital. Therefore, Holland and McGregor's storylines were written by the studio and were mostly inaccurate. As someone who was a teen during the tragic event, I can say that McGregor's story about melting-down calling his home or having access to transportation were unlikely to happen during those two days. I remember that it took a week for the locals to reconnect with the outside world because the tragedy had destroyed communication and transportation.

2.) No harm was done to local people?

I never saw local people being injured in this film. However, this is impossible as we faced the same tragedy, and their numbers were almost double that of the tourists. I saw my people looking clean and going about their business like nothing had happened. I felt awkward to see Tom Holland's point of view, in which he saw only white people dying on the streets or Asian people running around in perfect condition, was unlikely.

Despite the strange plot of Holland and McGregor's storylines, I enjoyed their acting skills of father-mother-son dynamic on screen.

TV film like Lifetime meets Riverdale's NEON style with no Racial propaganda.
19 January 2022
I was looking forward to watch Alyssa Milano because she was my favorite TV actor from my teen. I could only watch half of the film because the rest has no motive to stay on.

1.) Casting issue: I don't quite get why the female captain chose Alyssa to be on the case. Female captain delivered the lines with robotic tone and poor body expression. Therefore, I was not sure how Alyssa's character got the job in this murder case since the family victim should not be an advisor. It makes no sense why this female boss allows her male detectives to go with Alyssa's random ideas (book fan or sexist?). This it the sample of bad casting and poor written of this film.

2.) Poor Written: The first half of this film. Alyssa tried to express her acting and dialog very well. Yet, the second half is the issue when the writers want to spell out or highlight the killer. It is too obvious that the male characters get strange lines to make Alyssa stop saying the long dialogs or sometimes they repeat each others. The poster tries to make this film as romantic thriller, but I don't get the romance in the film since the detective guy does not have a decent dialog or show the connection to the audience. He is more like a background character. Why borther made the poster like a romantic story? The film does not let other characters to breath, but forces them to dash and talk. The ending lasts only two minutes with zero chemistry of two characters.

The only thing that I like about this film is NO Racial propaganda like those ABC or CW. The film does not push too many Asian, Black or Latino on the sceen because the only one spotlight in this film is Alyssa's chracter. The rest is not memorable due to the casting or written.

Annoying Cast and Poor Dialogue.

I love Emily Osment's post Disney teen career since Young and Hungry. However, this show is difficult to watch. Gregg Sulkin was not that bad, but the his lines were horrible.

The rest of the casts were not that memorable. It was hard to follow because of their annoying pitch too. Althought they got the different actors with their own jobs, they kept saying random words. I could not recall the significant of each character because they talked too fast and too much.

I find this film insulting.

Booboo Stewart looks like a white kid in this movie rather than looking like an Asian. This is a classic Hollywood using a white person in Asian character.

The overall story is good. Booboo has a good potential to be a big star. I like that the producers use multiple teenager stars to put into this project. However, I hate to see the main character pretending to be Asian when he is clearly a white kid by the facial structure and skin complex.
