This movie is like watching paint dry There is so much dead air in it that I came away thinking the director must have fallen asleep during the filming.

The last five minutes takes the cake for poor direction There's a long shot of a hill with no visible movement and finally you see Jimmy moving down the hill Too many scenes with characters just staring at each other.

Also there are too many holes in the story. Do they ever find the jewelry?

Also way too many characters to keep track of. It takes the first ten minutes of the movie to try to figure them out.

What ever happened to the tour guide.

What happened to Maya's new friend. Did he ever get his surf board back again.

Fade to black.

90 minutes to nowhere
17 December 2020
Completely implausible. A waste of at least 5 excellent actors. "Catch me if you can" for the feminists. At least Kathy Bates got to rest on the horizontal for ten minutes. I guess the director needed to fill some time because it's a rule that movies can't be less than 90 minutes.

Extra frames

This movie had so much time wasting scenes.in it. It's like they just decided we have to fill more than90 minutes so what can we throw in here. It's just like the book market. Books have to be 400 pages. Well one way to achieve that is to have a lot of chapters. Then each chapter starts half way down the page and ends half way up the page.

excellent acting

Warning: Spoilers
First off i don't understand the low rating of this film. I can only surmise that for some watching someone with a mental handicap is off-putting. The acting in this movie is excellent. Male, female, cop, mother. The script was very good. The only reason I couldn't go ten was the ending. Also they only intimated that she was placed in the hotel by her boyfriend ( murderer )to somehow do him harm.

unbelievable

I can not fathom how this series earns more than y stars. The only reason i watch it is to see what kind of nonsense they can come up with. First episode, we're going to build a hotel out of ice inside a glacier. With the hundreds of people who worked on this why didn't someone jump up and say, "wait a minute you can't do that." It reminds me of the Emperor's clothes. In a later episode someone finally tells Hildy, that's not possible. How about swimming in the Arctic Ocean? I think hypothermia would set in in about one minute. The water is 32 drg F. The actors need awards fot going along with this fiasco.

There is so much wrong with this series that I just don't know where to begin. 1. The Police Chief crippling one of his men. 2. Hit Men who have numerous chances to end this video torture but don't seize the opportunity. 3. Characters not behaving normallly. 4. People beaten to within an inch of death but miraculously walking around the next day. And on and on.

Sketchy episode
25 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This series sometimes leaves untied episodes. A few turn out to be cliffhangers. This is was a not one of those. There were at ;east three cases of scenes that were not tied up. What happened to the taxi driver? Any bodies ever found at the Millau bridge? Who was the guy with the van? How did he wind up hanging there? Who sent the van into the water?

Half hour was too much

What a waste of excellent actors. I could only take a half hour of this dribble. This despite the fact that I usually like Shakespearean films.

Filling time
6 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
OK, what we have here is a totally predictable movie with so many plot crevices that it should be a lesser vote. Goldie and Heard do am excellent job. The little girl was adorable. Why bother adding an extra wife. Is she the director's girl friend. Or was it to add an extra five minutes to the movie. Useless.

you can't spoil this film
2 November 2017
First of all the main character in this which is trying to be film noir is the home. The view of the city of Los Angeles is spectacular. IMHO I could not believe these two ever went to the same college. Freegood just doesn't seem like a guy who would ever sit in a classroom. Freegood, what kind of name is that. He's obviously Hispanic. Football scholarship? Give me a break. Most love the plot twist. What plot twist? Most say it's unpredictable. This waste of 90 minutes was totally predictable. If you're on Netflix you're much better off watching "Midsomer Murders".

Feel Good Movie
11 October 2017
This is a real feel good movie. True to life. Obviously not for the younger generations. Great to see RR and Jane reunited. Their on camera chemistry is great. We'd like to see a sequel. The little boy, Jamie was excellent. Her son was adequate but could have been cast better. Would like to have seen the train run at some point. Don't understand one viewers comment about the darkness of the film. The whole premise rests with loneliness at night. It's usually dark at night. The mountain scenes, on the other hand were very bright and wonderful.

propaganda
7 September 2017
This movie is pure propaganda. Moore has taken one little segment from each of these countries and expanded upon it. In France are we given to understand that all the Schools in that country serve gourmet meals ? Hogwash. In Italy are all the companies giving their employees eight weeks vacation ?? I'm sure Fiat doesn't. 21 years for murdering more than 50 people, mostly children. Absurd. Does he want the US to change to that form of injustice ?? Then he shows his dementia, when coming out of a meeting with the president of SLOVENIA he refers to it as SLOVAKIA.

The totaled M-B

Warning: Spoilers
Pretty good episode. This is my second time through the series. Seemed like a big waste destroying that Mercedes. It was evident that the second electrocution happened at the silver melting site when they showed the electrical panel all burned up. Therefore Ripert was involved. You must remember that Directors are always looking to fill time. Hence, Troy's encounter with Sally. The funeral at the end. Also required is Sally's cleavage. Based on the melt value of Silver in 2001 when this was filmed, and assuming all that stuff was sterling and not plated I doubt if he could have gotten 1000 pounds in Holland. Hardly worth the effort.
