The Bob's Burgers Movie (2022)
Absolutely loved it!!
I don't typically go to movies on the first weekend they're out, but I was so excited to see this movie I had to go see it last night, and I loved it so much I am going to see it again tonight!!
I went with a friend who has not watched Bob's burgers before, and she thought it was hilarious and a lot of light-hearted fun and told me she is now going to be watching the show religiously.
I'm a long time fan of Bob's burgers, it's probably my favorite show, and as a long time fan I also thought it was a great tribute to the show and expanding on everything that it is to make a movie.
The animation was upgraded to give you a feel of being in Bob's burgers, standing on the street and walking around in Wonder Warf and I really thought that was so cool, having never been able to see and almost feel like you're in it that way. That's why I want to see it at least one more time before it leaves the big screen, and will probably see it another time or two after tonight before it leaves theaters as well.
It really lived up to my hopes for the movie and made my heart feel happy 😁 it was fun, entertaining, well put together and had lots of surprises and laughs.
Addressed some of the things people speculate about but have never actually been addressed in the show before, like Louise's bunny ears, and had a few kind of deeper into the character moments I really enjoyed as well. I would highly recommend this movie, it made me very happy and will over and over again forever I'm sure 😁
The Last Man on Earth (2015)
So entertaining!! I Love it!
I am only 6 episodes in but I absolutely love it so far!! The characters, the theme and feel of the show, the events that are building, every aspect of it so far is amazing!! It is one of my top 5 instant favorites!! I am enjoying it so much and really praying that it is still airing.
Bob's Burgers (2011)
Genius
So subtle and hilarious. The characters are one of a kind and so endearing.. Very important show to watch the beginning of in order to understand the characters and build on to have a real understanding of them.
I thought I hated this show until I had watched the first season in order, it is now possibly my most favorite show ever. Linda and Tina are two of my favorite characters that I've ever been created.
Knock Knock (2015)
I was very entertained
I actually really like this movie and I had expected not to.
After seeing the reviews I put it off for quite some time but was bored the other day and decided to give it a try. I have to admit Keanu's acting was surprisingly bad in a few spots, and not quite the same as his usual acting. I thought the two girls were great in the roles that they were playing though, and while the movie may have some points of unbelievability, and perhaps is a little far-fetched in some ways, I thought the idea of it was very entertaining and interesting.
I think a lot of the people rating this film are people who are very prudish regarding the type of sex scenes in the movie, are typically Keanu Reeves fans and not really used to this type of movie matter, but you have a lot of films that are absolute rubbish and made just for the sexual content, and a lot of people are giving them good reviews even though the stories are subpar- because they were going in expecting gratuitous sex, and those movies don't even have any storyline whatsoever or a stupid one half the time.
The sex scenes are not even that bad really anyways, it's more the idea of what the sex scenes are representing, it's not like you see any penetration or even a close replica of it, more just flashes of slight movement that give you explicit ideas in your head.
I still don't really get what happened with the one guy in the middle, but that can be forgiven for me because the rest of the movie was entertaining enough for me to not feel the need to try to pick it apart.
I Care a Lot (2020)
So satisfying to watch
I LOVED this movie.
It is a realistic subject matter, whether people want to believe this type of thing happens and/or feel comfortable thinking about it or not. It is something that goes on on a daily basis and unfortunately, even at this very moment, there are many members of younger society who are always looking for and finding ways to scam the elderly who cannot often protect themselves.
The acting by all parties was amazing and I did not find any party of it to be over the top at all. If you want to try to scrutinize how one would look if they were going down in water in a car, or the logistics of things, and are one of those people who is always trying to look for things in a movie that you can point out as mistakes, then I don't know, perhaps maybe you won't like this movie. I am not one of those people, I am watching to take the story in as they are trying to present it and see what the movie is all about, so I couldn't comment to that view.
But the story line, writing, the acting, visual presentation of the movie, pace, I thought all of these things were spot on.
I was very entertained from start to finish and I really can't understand what the people giving this 6 stars or less are on about. If you read the negative reviews, I don't think they are relevant to others who may want to watch this movie in some cases, leaving a negative review for something like 'I didn't want the bad guy to get away and I was uncomfortable with the idea that they might' is not really a fair critique of the movie... I would say more a projection of how the movie is making you feel personally which is not really relevant to others who wonder if it's a good movie or not. Not everyone likes horror movies, but it doesn't mean they're all a 1 star movie.
I absolutely loved it. Felt that the buildup to the conclusion was very satisfying and loved that they didn't just let it fizzle out how so many movies do, I thought they did a really great job at holding the intensity right to the end and keeping you in the story until it was over and not just ending on a bunch of fluff nonsense.
Will definitely be watching this movie a few more times and recommending it to all my peeps too.
Lead Me Home (2021)
Thought it was wonderfully done
People are giving this film bad reviews based on the fact that it is short and not extensively deep. I thought it was really well done as a glimpse of what may allow people to be able to relate to these people and this problem that they have encountered of finding yourself to be homeless. I think the reason they kept it light is because a lot of people don't even like to look at or think about the subject, a lot of people think that they know a lot about it without actually having any information and do not wish to learn about it, so I feel that they tried to make this a nice light introduction to having a different viewpoint from the ignorant viewpoint that a lot of people already feel justified in having. I thought it had a very nice message and was a nice watch, and I'm glad I watched it. A lot of our society is made up of people who are very inhuman now, that's why this is getting a low rating.
The Lie (2018)
What did I just watch
Wow, this passes for a movie now??
Doesn't even make any sense whatsoever.. None of the characters choices are relatable whatsoever, these are not things people would do. It's just garbage.
The Voyeurs (2021)
Not even worth the time to read the synopsis
This movie is just more propaganda to attempt to convince and/or teach people who aren't old enough yet to know any better that sex is just some meaningless transaction that you should be doing with just about anyone.
I obviously knew there was going to be explicit sex, didn't have a problem with that, it's the overall message of this movie.. Just absolute trash.
Elize Matsunaga: Era uma Vez um Crime (2021)
A documentary shouldn't try to favor any viewpoint
Why is this 'documentary' trying to make me feel that it is okay that some trash woman not only murdered her husband but even went so far as to dismember him, which is already so demented on its own- but even more so being someone that she claims to have loved in any way; and then tried to steal his life of wealth.
I don't believe for one second that anyone could dismember a body under extreme panic, that is a calculated move and not something just anyone could get through. She knew she could accomplish that because she was planning to do it from the beginning.
Butchering an animal does not somehow make you immune to the trauma it would cause a normal person's brain to even just see someone getting dismembered, let alone be the one doing it; and neither does being a nurse or watching surgery.
The only people who can do things like this are the ones with a truly sick and deranged mind.
This is not a documentary, it is biased misinformed garbage.
Documentaries do not portray any certain viewpoint which would sway the viewer into any one direction.
This is pure nonsense.
And what was with that nonsense woman in the green top continually going on and on about sexism and violence against women... Like wtf does any of that have to do with this.
Superstore (2015)
One of my absolute favorites
Instantly became one of my very favorite shows soon after starting to watch. At first I thought it was too strange for me but I just had to get into the vibe. It's just so entertaining and easy to get into. The characters that they've created and the way the actors bring them to life is just delightful. I have watched the whole series through multiple times 😃
Modo Avião (2020)
I liked it!
It's a nice light watch but also has a deeper message that goes way beyond the internet and influencers and all the superficial things we deal with in this day and age. It's a nice movie that can help you see how you may yourself sometimes miss out on things that are real while trying to chase things that do not actually even give you a real experience.
My Girl (1991)
One of my most favorite movies of all time
I could watch this movie every day of my life, it's such a sweet movie with such a nice laid back tone, it is a moment in time captured so perfectly of when things were so much more simplistic and meaningful. This movie helps me to check back in with reality and remember what we thought was important before everything about life became ruled by online related matter.
Melissa & Joey (2010)
My Favorite Show
I love this show so much. It is the best to come home after a stressful day and unwind with the delightful story lines and hilarious laughs. There are times I have woken my boyfriend up by bursting out in laughter I could not contain while watching before bed. If there is anyone that can watch the episode 'dancing with the stars of Toledo' without literally lol-ing I feel like you may be dead inside. lol!! The writing is awesome, on point, no fillers because they were tired of thinking of things, and last but certainly not least; the acting of the four main characters is absolutely 5 stars. Melissa is HILARIOUS, Joey is PERFECT in his role also hilarious, and Taylor and Nick well, I guess the only thing to say is everyone is PERFECT and HILARIOUS in their roles. They are all so so GREAT! I have been touched by certain moments (which doesn't happen to me a lot) and THOROUGHLY amused by the others. Watch this show it's amazing, I would really recommend to watch from episode 1, give it a chance!
The Bounty Hunter (2010)
BIG FLOP two thumbs way down!!
Was not as funny as it could have or should have been. It was alright, but i am getting so sick of every single movie having some long pointless graphic strip club scene, or big graphic sex scene. it's fine if people want to watch that kind of thing, but i am so sick of it becoming some type of mainstream thing. if people want to look at it that's fine, but people should also have equal opportunity to not watch it too. I'm sorry but numerous women wearing pasties and little slivers of cloths over their vagina's dancing around in front of men and swinging on poles two at a time have no business being in a PG movie if you ask me. and why the hell does every movie has to have this anyway?? men are not the only one's who watch movies!
I AM VERY SORRY I WASTED ANY TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF CRRRRRAP!
